I have been searching for a modders resource of an island, but then I realized that a heightmap version would be way cooler to use. Luckily I stumbled upon this beauty! Will use Island3 to make my mod! Wish I could endorse this more than once!
the link im showing does not currently have your land mass(s) in it. but i am merging them into this mod. just thought you would like to see what i made solo.. im not good with landmass give me a map and i can decorate it to the max and make it look like a real island. anyways here is the link to the mod. i will give you proper credits and a shout out in the partners list when i make it <3
I believe you need a working LOD to see the map, so only the esp's that had LOD will have a map, I think I only made LOD for a couple of those esp's. So if you want a map for one or more of the esp's with no LOD you need to create your own LOD with Oscape.
Thanks for posting that, your new world looks very promising! It's really fun for me to check out projects based on any of these heightmaps, and I did recognize it after a while, yet I can't say I envy you all that work though, haha. The landscape gave a bit of an Oblivion vibe, and the retextured houses and location of the castle looked really good too. Good luck with the continuation!
Thanks for saying that! I didn't work as much on the shores as I could have done, but I did some tricks and hoped for the best Luckily lesser details can easily be adjusted with the Creation Kit.
I spent about 3 game days riding my horse around this huge place and identifying some nice building sites. I will be as busy as a kitten in a new sand box.
I changed the name and made it an esm, so I can make multiple esps. I have a half dozen of my own small world spaces, but this is very handy. I already have 5 fast travel markers set and a palace and small town started.
