So we can't really temper arrows because the sharpening wheel only works if the CNAM is set to a WEAP? Is this why you made this little 'cheat' to actually create 'new arrows'?
I was just trying to make real temperable arrows and went here after some reference...
This mod was made so many years ago. It was an attempt to create something akin to upgrading arrows. I don't know what you mean when you call it a cheat. I did the best that my younger self could do.
I think that would be an easy enough feature to add in a future revision. Currently busy with other projects, but I haven't totally forgotten about this one.
I like that this needs such high input costs, gives me a reason to keep gathering materials, and it makes me think twice about whether I should use improved arrows or just good regular arrows.
Do we eat 2 of the arrows as we temper them? I mean according to the list we use firewood, the ingot type and 2 of the arrows to make the arrows stronger? Looking at that we lose 2 arrows every time we temper them.
You will lose two arrows every time you upgrade them (I'm going to rebalance the crafting formula soon) so that the higher grade arrows are more difficult to obtain, due to their increase in damage.
Any word on when the projected update will be posted? I really like this idea, but having 2 arrows left behind in each of the lower categories clutters up my inventory something wicked.
A lot of things have come up, and I've been a little distracted with modeling swords; I haven't really had the patience to go into the Creation Kit and grind out all of the recipes, amongst other things, but I'm going to have the update rolled with all of the fixes, balance tweaks, added arrows, by the end of this week! Thank you for all your patience!

Was "Dwarven Arrows" forgotten in the lineup? Did not see it listed here. Yes...Ancient Arrows are a must...I have a boatload of those and all they are doing is taking up storage space. Would be nice to put them to use.
Planning on adding an update today or tomorrow to rebalance some of the arrows and crafting recipes! This will be a separate version for those of you who want a less resource heavy crafting solution to gain your arrows.

Please give your opinion on the damage increases such as whether you think they are balanced enough, etc.
Can you also do likewise for the Ancient Nord Arrows? You wind up collecting quite a few of them but they are not very good in "vanilla" condition.
Also, would a system where arrows start needing different kinds of ingots or perhaps more of them instead of unequal arrow crafting?
