For those of you who have the disappearing hair, open the mod in the CK, look up dlc1ivorycrown under Armor, un-highlight the HAIR slot, and make sure the circlet slot remains highlighted. Hit okay and save.
Would you be able to release a version where the crown remains in the circlet slot? I'm guessing that assigning it as a helmet could be the cause of the hair glitch.
You know, standard elven helmets do work with the matched set perk, same way any of the falmer helms and the shellbug ones work with a full falmer set comprising of peices from any of the variants. That said THIS MOD. JUST THIS.
I like having the ability to craft any armour I can wear, like with Lost Art of the Blacksmith mod, so this is great.
In the description I wrote that you can wear the elven helmet to get the matched perk, but it looks silly. And this mod doesn't make the helmet crafteable...You can temper it but I didn't add a feature to craft it whenever you want.
Heh, no problem. I was just trying to figure out if I should dl yours, or just stick with that one. I think his mod was also inspired by GrZDem's mod. I had the same thing happen to me, making a Golden Glow Estate ownable mod, only to have another author beat me to the punch. I never bothered releasing mine because his was frankly better. Oh well!
Hm, I never knew that existed haha. Based off of the description it seems to be the same thing minus the outfit. However I don't know how he went about adding it or what exactly he modified on the helmet. I made sure to make mine copy the keywords of the elven helmet and mimic the stats of the glass helmet exactly but essentially the mods are the same (minus maybe the wearing hoods on top of the crown part I fixed). If I had known that mod existed I probably would have just kept this mod for personal use. Thanks for letting me know.
So it pretty much does the same as the Ancient Falmer Armor Crown - Fix, but with the option of him wearing it, correct? ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23805 )
