I've been using this excellent mod for a while now and I'm glad to say that it does work with the mod HorseInventory in-case you're needing a pack horse.
Just a quick note to say I've been your guinea pig. I'm running this with Convenient Horses, and it seems to work. It doesn't give any errors, and I'm pretty sure the horse I got from Riften is faster than the one from Whiterun. So all seems to work.
This looks just awesome. I would d/l this in a heartbeat if it wasn't for CH. I just love CH. I'll definitely track this and wait to see what the results are on compatibility.
Now I'll just need to find a mod that adds a variety of craftable horse saddles and bags that I can equip on the horse and have my horse follow me around like a follower, as a pack mule - so he can carry all my burdens - because I don't like to listen to lydia get smart about it.
I think I'm also going to request in the forums someone to make an actual pack mule animal, using a custom mesh and textures - while using the mechanics of a horse - with custom animation to move like a pack mule, and be a bit slower. Possible to ride, but not efficient to ride since they are slow, having a tweak which allows you to have a pack mule and a horse as well as followers and a dog if you wanted - that way it seems unique and new to the game.
What do you think, something you would like to see as well and if it gets made, do you think you could add similar functions to it that are you with the horses here?

Yeah I doubt the two are compatible. If you'd care to be my guinea pig however... *grins*
And yep. Theoretically once I get some of the scripting and mechanics figured out you'll be able to breed a custom horse. Currently the plan is that you'll be able to pick two parent horses and their offspring will be a combo of the two. There'll be more depth to it and more options but that's the basic idea.

Tracked. Sounds promising. Any chance you plan to alter the horses from Hearthfire as well, if the changes you've made here don't effect them?
