Can you do one for the dragon bone arrow as well? Tired of killing my enemies with a fork.

answer to the picture saying "dafuq is this?" : obviously it's a daedric arrow " but is not just this, i like the shape of the original arrow even "remembering-me of that disgusting falmer arrow." i like that vanilla daedric arrow because is a "(oblivion) mention", if you can see that arrow ,a oblivion simbol is the arrowhead, and that's so fcking awsome because you can see a reference in that vanilla arrow and that's what makes the most beautiful arrow in the game "perhaps?!"

Anyways great mod,i like that new shape of the quiver (in cosmetic way) , and the arrow remember-me of the actual vanilla bow and armor . xD

srry about my bad english, I'm brazilian.

Speaking in functional terms, the vanilla shape is not a good arrow head shape for combat. I imagine the mod author knows at least a few things about bows and arrows, and thus he knows why it is a bad shape. Or, maybe he's addressing the concerns of someone that knows about that. I know quite a bit about swords and looking at unrealistic designs that couldn't possibly work in real life, breaks my immersion and pisses me off. This is a similar case, so allow me to explain:

SHORT VERSION: The vanilla head shape has two curved prongs, or claws, or whatever you wish to call them. And since one "claw" is longer than the other, the longer one would hit the target first, and thus cause a rotational momentum along an axis perpendicular to that of the arrow's flight vector, which is extremely bad for an arrow; this means that its kinetic energy is being dissipated sideways instead of being transferred to the target. Essentially, you would have an arrow that deflects itself. Also, the point where the two prongs come together, would produce drag while penetrating. Way to go, Daedra.

EXPANDED: Assuming the arrow does actually manage to penetrate, those assimetric claw-like things would hinder said penetration against any target. I think it's possible they would cause the arrow to twist and change trajectories as it carves a hole into said target, again wasting even more energy in perpendicular vectors to the entry point (producing a more shallow cavity). In other words, IF it penetrates properly, it would stick in you and then cut you sideways, instead of sticking in and keep cutting deeper *into* you. And it's even possible the arrow would only penetrate as far as the point where the two pronges come together, where they are attached to the arrow shaft; this point would create significant drag, and might cause the arrow to be caught by the flesh as if it were being held back by a net. There would be *some* penetration, and it would be painful, but instead of enabling the arrow to travel deeper and puncture your internal organs, the reduced penetration might cause it to only injure muscles and basically turn the whole thing into something similar to taking a fist punch by someone wearing brass knuckles with not very long spikes attached to them (the length of the claws in this arrow head appears to be more or less equivalent to the legal maximum blade length for pocket knives and everyday-carry knives). Which would be generally less lethal than punching holes through somebody's internal organs and/or opening optimized bleeding channels as some arrowheads are designed to do.

Multi-pronged shapes are also notoriously ineffective against armor; they divide the kinetic energy among multiple impact points, which is not what you want when you need to penetrate hardened targets. And, again, assuming there is some penetration, the arrow would be caught and stopped at the point where the prongs come together. And, since functional armors are multi-layered, even if this vanilla arrowhead thing did stick on the armor, it would likely cause no injuries to the person wearing it.

The vanilla daedric arrowhead does not have a functional shape for combat. The arrowhead of this mod does have a functional shape. If the Daedra are so mean, evil, and they hold secret knowledge, you'd expect them to at least know how to design proper arrows. You know, arrows that can actually kill living creatures. So if they wanted to put daedric letters on it, maybe to bestow magical powers upon the arrow, then why not put them along the arrow shaft where they would not have a counter-productive effect, instead of attempting to shape an arrowhead like such a symbol, which would indeed have a counter-productive effect?

If you are merely interested in the cosmetic appearance of vanilla over that of this mod, and you do not care about anything I explained, then there is no need to install this, is there? Nor is there a need to disagree with the mod author's work at all, since you're not even concerned with the same issues the mod addresses.

Love the redesign, but would it be possible to have non-glowing arrows? I tend to use Daedric arrows most while playing a stealth character, and glow in the dark arrows just doesn't seem to fit
