In the description you say that there's no lore behind the armor and that it doesn't feel unique. This is the very armor that Glover Mallory used to carry when he was a Thiever Guild Member. And you can say that its 'almost' unique cause there's only two of these model in the game. That's pretty much it. Great mod btw. Not that I'm into The Witcher series, but you did very good. bye
Anyone know if there's a female Letho conversion floating around handy?
You can still find L0rdofWar's Witcher pack via Google, but I didn't find the conversion in it. Apachii Divine Elegance Store has the pants, but unless you like your lady thieves topless, I'm still looking for a suitable shirt...
There isn't, and I am extremely unlikely to make one. The only element of the mod that is contingent on the DLC is the plugin; none of the assets draw from it. You could theoretically download the mod and make your own plugin to add the armor without Dragonborn.
I don't know if this helps or not, but the word Blackguard, or Blaggard, is actually an Old English phrase that referred to a pirate, or possibly a bruiser. It's a word no different from "Thug", "Scoundrel" or "Scalawag."
So the fact that the armour doesn't have, from a lore wise perspective, a reference or past, is because anyone could be a blackguard. It was a common insult.
Is the female version still coming? I've taken a look at L0rd0fWar's The Witcher 2 Models and it looks like there's a female version for Letho's armor from the "Images" tab.
These days, unfortunately not. However, a few months after the mod was made, I actually made a few texture variants including the Linwe variant. They also feature armour plates based on the ones used by the Dawnguard. Events in my life at the time intervened and I forgot about those files until recently. I'll have to see about an update in the near future.
