I don't suppose there is a 64bit version of this file? I am running Win7 64bit and using the Steam install

Any chance you could modify and build this code to work the same magic for Oblivion and OBSE? That might be a way to make OBSE work with Mod Organizer 2...?

    ???

I use SKSE with Skyrim and it works perfectly. There was no "ridiculous setup" required, no hexediting, nothing of that.

I think the author means that you cannot run Skse directly from the Steam application or normal shortcut, but ordinarily have to run the Skse executable which then launches the normal Steamed Skyrim exe. This patch presumably makes the executable Steam calls load the skse exe automatically.

That said, installing and running SKSE manually is really easy for anyone with even a basic knowlege of directory structure and file mangement. If people cannot grok how to setup SKSE, they should not be modding and probably should be using a console instead of a PC. Of course, having a proper file manager like Total Commander makes manually installing lots of mods much easier than the aweful Windows Explorer.

that's because MOST of us don't or refuse to use the Steam workshop SKSE (which is a nightmare and with big picture is rubbish), Those who of us who are Long term mod makers (not the steam workshop or Bathsda net newbies) go and get SKSE from http://skse.silverlock.org/ and wont touch the Bethsda net or Steam workshop Versions of SKSE.

    works PERFECTLY
this solved a little issue i had with ENB, i use often alt tab and with ENB's fixmousecursor option enabled the cursor will disappear hovering on the skyrim window. oh i almost forgot now i can use multimedia keys on my keyboard while using ENB
THREE BIRDS WITH ONE STONE <3

ps. the .exe of the skyrim will change, so you have to set the right option in ENB injector or in any other third part program that edit skyrim
example in nvidia control panel your custom options for skyrim are not saved, you need to add the TES_.exe

maybe because you already renamed SkyrimLauncher and TESV, you have to rename them to their original names

Don't know why this is necessary anymore, as when game starts it will recognize SKSE and load it. No need for manipulation this way.
Steam will automatically load SKSE if found, so as stated out from the Skyrim Script Extender developers.
No other experiences from me here so far about this.

If you're savvy enough to be getting mods for games, than this is really just people being lazy AF.

Its not hard to find a folder, its not hard to copy and paste.
Its not hard to FOLLOW DIRECTIONS.

Most copies of windows have a Search Function built into the start menu, so yeah, lazy A.F.
