Welcome to the comment section of SkyJubs Grand Investor!
Good news first: This mod works without any problems or bugs, as far as I know, with every Skyrim version over 1.7, so don't hesitate to download and try it! It won't break something, it just enhances things. Furthermore it's compatible with "SkyrimRedone" and nearly all Speech Overhaul Mods (so far I heard of none, which conflicts with mine).
Unfortunately my formerly announced expansion of this mod to a whole Merchant Overhaul is very complex and a heck of a time thief. Let's they there are something around 50.000 clicks to do in the CK - so even if I just need 1 second for every one of them (which is highly doubtable), there would be still many hours I'd have to spend. So I stopped working on this for now, but still wish to complete it later. But at the moment I got some other mod projects to do and don't find the time to work on this one. Sorry guys.

    Your endorsements are appreciated!
If you use my mod and like it, I’d be glad if you show the appreciation and endorse it. I put some work into this and it’s always nice to get something back for it – at least a simple click

    Have fun

The mod's idea is great, except I encountered the following bugs that kills gameplay

      1) For every 1000 gold you invest, the merchant has 1000 gold stocked. Let's say, I invest 1000 gold. He immediately gets an extra 1000 gold in his stock. Then, I sell something to him worth 1000 septims and get back my money. Essentially this way, I'm investing my items and not exactly my gold. This is Good, except, I take issue with the fact that this mod doesn't do what it says it does i.e get back 250 instead of 1000.

      2) I invested about 47000 gold with Adrienne Avenicci in Whiterun. I started selling my potions and other items, except, she never gave me any gold in return. I had 2000 gold with me and when I sold a Daedric Helmet worth 10000 gold, she didn't give me any money in return. This issue seems to be there even before installing this mod, so I think you should focus on fixing this as well.

Please fix this asap. Really loved your mod. But you don't have my endorsement, just yet. Sorry.

I agree, this mod is a great idea, although it would really be nice to have a limit to how much you can invest (I personally restrict myself to no more than 50,000 gold).

      1) A temporary fix for the merchants instantly obtaining the gold you invest is to open the console (after investing), click on the merchant and type "additem f -1000", where "1000" is replaced with the amount you invested. (E.g: typing "additem f -20000" will remove 20,000 gold from the merchant.) It would be great this command could somehow be applied automatically each time you choose to invest.

      2) I don't think it's possible for Jubeldibub to fix the merchants not giving you money when they above (roughly) 30,000 gold, because as you said, that's a bug in the game, rather than the mod, and if there was a simple fix for it, it would have been fixed by the USKP team. Using the above fix though, should stop merchants from reaching this amount, as long as you don't invest over 100,000 gold).

      Hope this helps

this is a game glitch, safest margin an npc vendor has is 29,999 +-, after that no cash will be given, also, it raises overall cash available after an npc restocks, its normal he has ur cash available

I really like the concept, but being able to invest several times seems pretty cheaty to me - you could constantly invest in a single merchant so they'd have endless money and you could go to them alone and offload all of your goods.

Release a toned down version and add a full MCM, then I'll consider this mod.

This mod sounds good but I'd like to know if this mod conflicts in any way with Trade and Barter, which contains an option to change how much gold is invested when you invest in a store (you can still only do it once in this mod) in it's MCM or with RE-Real Estate, which ties the ability to buy certain properties to the perks you have altered.

Specifically I'd like to know if the changes to investment prevent the Trade and Barter option to change the amount of gold invested from working, and if the changes to these perks prevent RE-Real Estate from recognizing when you have them, which would make it impossible to purchase certain properties.

    Trade and Barter: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34612/?
    RE- Real Estate: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37774/?

There is a perk in SkyRe which adds some items (ore and ingots, mainly) to smiths. This mod overrides their inventory and that perk stops working. So it's not fully compatible with SkyRe.
I still don't get how investment work. I invested about 6000 gold in one trader, then he should have 1500 more gold next time his inventory updates, right? But There was almost a week passed, but this trader have only 1350 g. I have master trader perk, so he must have at least 1500, at max 1500 + 50*61 = 4500 g.
    Am I missed something?
This mod is last in the load order, so there should be nothing, which could break it.

That's kinda strange. At first: I can't do anything about the slightly incompatibility with SkyRe. I have to overwrite the inventory (of the merchants), in order to make my mod work. Hope that's not that bad, the named Feature of SkyRe seem to be a less important one.
If you invest 6000 gold, the stock will be raised to standard stock + 1500. If you activate the Master Trader you get a fluctuating bonus of 50 to (character levelx50) gold on top of that (the amount fluctuates every time the inventory of the merchant is updating).
To "the week passed": I don't know how long it needs with SkyRe, to update the inventory of the merchants. Perhaps this time is much longer than the usual 3 days.

      Okay, I'll wait more.
Do you plan to include Dragonborn support? (I don't see investment option in dialog with solstheim's merchants)

I feared something like that Unfortunately "update-time" of Skyrim often means "hard-work-time" for modders I will see what they change and adapt my mod, if I'll have to. Thanks for the information though, somehow I steadily miss to read the bethesda update infos

Just thought you'd like to know, the Skyrim 1.9 update will fix some issues with the investor perk, don't know if this interferes with your mod in some way.

"Fixed issue with merchants not receiving the proper additional gold with the Investor perk"
    From Bethblog.

Just a short heads up: I work on the expansion of this mod. When it's ready, the investments will influence not only the vendor capitals, but also their prices and perhaps even the goods they offer. But unfortunately, it's a lot of work, so it can take a while. So long, you have to stay with this basic version.

    Bye

Does this have SkyRe compatibility? If not, i think it should have cuz it's the most endorsed complete overhaul.
