Poor wak wak. I installed him because he was cute and lonely. But the mod is so buggy. The quest worked but as soon as i came across the CC goblin pet he ran off back home and wouldn't follow me anymore. The only option I had was to talk about his home location.
I see I can use a very roundabout way with amazing followers to fix him but I use extended follower framework.
PLZ PLZ PLZ! Anyone can teach me how to make him a follower instead of a pet cause I want to add him to loot mod that allow followers to loot for me plzzzzzzz
Note: I know AFT can do that, but AFT don't work with immersive citizens mod that I don't want to let it go
This mod is by far my favorite Pet/Slave follower mod. Pretty much an essential if you're playing an "Evil" or "Chaotic" character. There have been a few glaring issues in terms of recruitment, but fear not! I've found a few ways to bypass them with a bit of research and forum prodding.
Wak-Wak seems to completely ignore you when dismissed. He trots off to his little island and you are thereby unable to speak with him from that point onward. This is where I would highly suggest getting the mod "Amazing follower tweaks", and let that mod manage Wak-Wak. AFT comes with a lesser power that can force AFT management onto any NPC, making it so that Wak-Wak will at least stop giving you the cold shoulder. Once Wak-Wak is now managed with AFT, you should be able to have him follow as you normal. HOWEVER, you will notice that he will simply refuse to use all weapons and opt to punch with his little baby hands. f*#@ that shit. To fix him, you need to add him to a bypass faction: ##036D8B
where ## are the first 2 digits of all AFT resources. From console type "help tweak". That will show you the AFT resources so that you can note the first 2 digits. Then while console is open, click on your Riekling buddy and type "addfac ##036D8B 1" (The first two digits [Can be either numbers and/or letters] will also be found in the Nexus mod manager in the "Load Order" column next to the "SlavePackRiekling.esp" plugin) NOTE: This can ONLY work if you have AFT installed, as it is the mod this problem in the first place.
And presto. You now have the obedient servant that destined is destined to carry your many many burdens!
this works but sadly wak wak will then no longer use the animal follower slot. he basically becomes a normal follower taking up those slots. which is fine except a big draw for me was that he didn't use a follower slot which would require me to get rid of a more wanted follower for him.
I have not read all the comments to see if someone posted this so if so pardon for a repost. I cleaned this and it had 177 ITMs in it. Were those intentional or is the mod really that dirty? I was going to add it but seems to be buggy too. Has anyone used it for a full play through and noticed bugs that often?
I have a bit of an issue here. I did his mission to get him as a follower, then I told him to go home. I saved my game, quit the game but now whenever I load it the dialogue option to get him as a follower doesn't appear. What could cause this?
I've tried to open the console and type Setstage PROM_SLAVE 50 and the same thing happened, when I dismissed him I couldn't get him as a follower anymore. Please help

I'd get him if the mod weren't so broken
