I've uploaded a new version that has a new walkway for the entrance using a ramp from Earrindo's Telvanni Resource pack. You can still download the original version in the Optional Files segment.
*gasp* You updated using Earrindo's resources! I LOVE YOU! Edit: To expand a little on this, I'm a fan of Earrindo's work, and I knew he'd been working on those resources for a looong time, so when he finally uploaded them, I was hoping to see some people pick them up and use them. When I saw you had updated, I immediately had the thought that you might've added something from these new resources. And joyously, I was correct. New staircase looks great!
Yes, Earrindo includes a lot of great resources in the pack and modders can easily create some cool buildings and whatnot with them. I am actually tempted to recreate this mod using the resources as it would allow much greater flexibility. And, if I ever finish my Snowbound Acres mod, then I may expand upon Tel Mithryn itself using the resources, as it seems so tiny and lifeless in its vanilla state.
I also finished the exterior navmesh for this mod but, for some reason (might be my save file as I never bothered to create a clean test save), the follower AI has some trouble navigating the area. If I find out why in the future, I'll upload it as an optional file.
Wow, I just love this! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Ever since Skyrim shipped, I've been dreaming of being a Telvanni vampire-lord wizard complete in Telvanni robes and house. Thanks to Dawnguard, Dragonborn, and fellow modders like yourself, it is finally realized!
PS: Wondering whether it's possible to create a Telvanni wizard tower but on mainland Skyrim, as sort of a Telvanni invasion landing? No?
It all depends on what you want the tower to look like as there are only a few main exterior Telvanni pieces, so you may have to get creative in their use to achieve the look you want.
raven: The Telvanni tile set is very limiting since the rooms are premade. This means there is only one opening/door for the main living area, which is the door you enter in. As such, the levitation thing is of no use. I can tuck the portal in a nook, and that was my original intention, but all places of the living space are being used already.
Very nice work, great looking house. The only thing that bugs me is the basement teleporter just sitting there. Couldn't you find a more elegant way to the basement? Like the actual levitation thingy, that would be cool.
Update released: v1.4.2 - Added some more atmosphere to the place. This includes: Cavern area: new roots, some more webs, enhanced lighting, kelp. Basement workspace: a little more clutter.
