Just an FYI in case anyone else has the same issue I did -- The mod somehow conflicts with Ultimate NPC Overhaul. Not quite show how because MO doesn't show any conflicts, but all the appearance changes in UNO are negated with this mod installed.
This mod glitched my skyrim pretty bad. During combat Aela went werewolf however it glitched and she turned into slenderman, and became unable to move from the transformation spot. Just reloaded the save before that and the issue was fixed. Another issue I had which was unfixable was my followers became god status. Alea and a stray dog couldn't be killed. I even used console command to kill them but they wouldn't die or even enter the downed state. But this issue could've resulted in another mod trying to set followers to non-essential called "non-essential followers". Either way the menu's could be slightly neater for customizing the companions. For instance, the menus in "sophia-the follower".
Any chance to make all followers not essential even if they ar marked as essential by default or is it an imposible thing to do? Personally i really dislike inmortal followers, ruins the immersion...
As this is obviously outdated and no updates can be expected, get TCG - Tradable companion gear, which adds wear-anything functionality as well as several other tweaks, and works well without nude-bug.
Did you try the remove level cap mod from an existing or a new game? I only ask as I know with UFO which also removes the level cap, states on the mod page that removing level caps on some followers requires a new game....
