Since I played RDR2 Online (or how I call it: "awesome horse simulator with nasty people around you), I'm longing for realistic horse mods. Will try!

I love this mod! I think sounds are one of the most important things for games to be immersive. would it be possible to upload an optional file for the Yakkuru mod by Dragonporn?

This mod seems pretty cool, but I'm not convinced of the stone version. In my opinion it sounds too artificial and dull. What's missing is a clear sound of the hoofs/horseshoes clacking over the stone. That'd be awesome. All the other sounds are lovely.
But anyway ... I will certainly check this mod out.

I agree on the stone sound, it's way too dull and not realistic at all. Also summoned horses still have that sandy sound in addition to the new ones. Aside from that though, this is an essential mod.

Hooves sound very different than horseshoes when traveling over stone. Which one are you expecting to hear? (I'm pretty sure these horses aren't shod, though I could be wrong.)

Recently reinstalled Skyrim with all my mods and I happened to notice that when IHSS is used simultaneously with USLEEP (Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch) the sound gets choppy. As soon as I unselect the USLEEP plugin in NMM the sounds are perfect again. I don't know if there is still some support this many years later but I guess I got nothing to lose by asking. So if anyone as any suggestions I'm all ears.

I thought this mod actually fixed that problem that exists in the vanilla game...

Sorry, haven't check here in a while. I didn't find a fix yet SAADISHERE, was actually waiting to start a new game to see if it would fix it, since some stuff seems to fix themselves on their own just by doing that. And I'm not doing that right now, since starting a new game is usually how I end up overwritting my saved game and by doing so cursing myself to Oblivion by deleting a save file worth hundreds of hours :P

R0NIN, this mod does fix the vanilla sound, It used to work perfectly before the patches were merged. But somehow when I installed the Unofficial merged patches now called USLEEP it gets choppy again but the game retains the IHSS sounds. Which at first made me think that there was something USLEEP was overriding so I uninstalled and reinstalled IHSS but that didn't work. Which is weird since when I deactivate USLEEP in the plugin and launch the game, sounds become perfect once again. Though I haven't ask on USLEEP, not like I can anyway since support and comments are closed and Arthmoor is pretty adamant on saying that the patch does not conflict with anything and if we encounter a bug then we are at fault. So like I said further up I will try later on when I feel like starting a new game.

Edit 04/24/2020: Finally got around to try a new game and that did not fix the issue. So for some unknown reason IHSS and USLEEP does not seem to be compatible as USLEEP will break the sound effect of IHSS. Only way to fix it so far is to uninstall USLEEP, but that ain't really a fix as the Unofficial patches are kind of a must have to fix all those pesky little glitches and what not in the game...

Will this help with sound temporarily cutting out when riding across the tamriel cell border?

I can't seem to get this mod to work with mod organizer, is this purely nmm and manual install friendly?

Is that the glitch where the sound cuts out randomly when galloping? That's been driving me crazy!

I love what I hear in the video featuring this mod, but for some reason I can't get it to work. I do have Audio Overhaul of Skyrim, but I installed this after and placed it at the bottom of my load order, and still all I hear are the vanilla sounds. Holding onto it for a fresh playthrough without AOS, hoping it will work because the sounds are amazing.
