idk why it took me so long to download this mod, i needed it for at least a few years and just forgot to look for it until randomly browsing booby mods :P
you should do one for seared slaughterfish too. or pretty much any animal that doesnt drop cooked meat for that matter. in minecraft if you slaughter animals with flaming weapons you automatically get cooked food, so why the hell not skyrim?

my thought was, it would be cool if you could harvest a "skeever hide", then use it as an ingredient at the Cooking Spit to create the "charred skeever hide"
what do you think about this approach? it could probably be done without script..
This is a head slapper mod. As in, it just makes so much damn sense you have to slap your forehad and exclaim "Why didn't I think of that?" Of course the scripting involved is more than I or most people could accomplish, so thank you CarlCorey for doing this.
I've been bugged by the inability to create charred skeever hide for a while. What sort of badass dragon slayer can't somehow manage to overcook a rodent? I can cloak myself in fire, shoot it from both of my hands, imbue all my gear with it's essence, and breathe fire itself. I mean, really? I can't burn a rat?
Some current limitations I saw while trying to break the mod. Custom melee enchants and fire scrolls don't seem to work for me. Fire bolts, strangely, don't work if you shoot skeevers, but if you shoot NEXT to them, and kill them with splash damage? Works like a charm. It's possible SkyRe is just ruining things and causing a conflict, it's been known to do that, so take what I say with a grain of salt.
Either way, for using fire in more typical ways? This mod works great. Very nice, thank you.
