I LOVE the retexture. The only things that sets me of a little is the fact that it's ebony and the open wings on the helmet. But you can't have everything. If you excuse me, I have some Thalmor and Stormcloaks to kill. For the glory of the old Empire. May the false Emperor fall to our Blades and the Dominion be crushed under the warhammers of the Nords, sliced by the fine blades of of our swords, slashed by the claws of the Kahjiit and burned by the fires of our war mages!
It sounds like either some other mod is conflicting, or you've already taken Dragonbane. Check your load order for anything else that may edit Sky Haven Temple, and try loading my mod after it.
Love these retextures. Although I would suggest putting together an installer for MO/NMM users; I will admit to having thought that the auto-enabled "patch" for Unique Uniques was actually a patch and not a one-or-the-other type of thing.
Thanks so much! I agree, my delivery is a bit old-fashioned, but to tell the truth I have no idea how to do that, and lack the patience to learn. I would not stop anyone else from trying though!
Well actually if you would reason by the measn of Logic and Wisdom, its likely that all the best equipment(if not all) was taken with the former Blades who were on the run(from the Thalmor and whatnot). So it actually makes sense for the place being near empty.
The Temple was sealed purposefully to protect Alduin's Wall and await the Last Dragonborn. The Blades did not surrender it to the Thalmor (who did not exist at that time) or the dragons, it was consecrated by Emperor Reman II then gradually and purposefully forgotten as the Blades turned from dragonslaying to serving as Imperial spies. Because they did not need such armaments anymore, it is very likely they would have locked them safely in their vault of a Temple to serve the future Dragonborn they were sworn to protect.
I'd like to begin by saying this mod is incredible! Perfect Akaviri equipment representation! Totally something that should have been in the vanilla game and useful for my story! It's among my favourites that I always install and has been for a while. Lately I got back into Skyrim again and read some more Akaviri lore.
I was actually wondering if you'd be interested in making another mod related to some of said lore that I found. It would seem that the Akaviri occasionally used dragon scales to make their armour. So that got me wondering about what that might look like! Do you think you could either make a new mod or update that adds a balanced and perhaps unique set of Dragonscale Akaviri armour to the game? Maybe even just a retexture if that's all you're up for.
Either way. Thanks again for this spectacular looking mod and thank you for your time!
I'm glad you've enjoyed my humble additions to the Akaviri history present in Skyrim! I very much like the idea of ancient Dragonscale armor in the Akaviri style, it would have to be very old indeed, dating from before the dragons ever came to Tamriel! Unfortunately I've pulled back from doing much modding anymore, so perhaps there would be another modder interested in the idea? I sure hope so, and I wish you luck if you pursue it!
Indeed! Ah I see! No problem. I can totally understand that. Used to mod Fallout 3 a little after all. Never considered it good enough to upload here though. XD Thanks! Hopefully I CAN either get someone else interested or maybe rejoin the modding community myself. It's the mesh and texture work that I've always had the most trouble with. Anyways, thanks again, mate! I'll possibly be around nexus.
Thanks very much! Taj is built from an old version of Nuska's Dagi Raht race mod (current version http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48672/? ), with a whole lot of customization including hair, coloration, markings, eyes, and of course, clothes.
