Level up noise - I presume that's the fanfare that announces loudly that you've levelled up? I hope so, as I've always wanted something to mute that :-) I'll find out. Thanks for including the filenames and what does what. I won't need them all, but I see a few there that I didn't know I wanted until I read it, lol.
Where have you been all this time? Modding for many years and never thought this beautiful gem was hidden under UI instead of Audio category. Suggestion if it isn't already included. Remove the spell equipping noise (when you press R there is an ugly voice). Haven't tried it yet, I'm just so eager to... Thanks...
Thank you so much for making this! Most of the sounds I don't use, but the blacksmithing sounds were so loud and obnoxious that they were driving me crazy. This does work on SE, so thank you again!
There is an annoying mosquito buzz every now and again that seems to not be attached to any in-game asset (bee, arachnid, charus, ashopper or anything else), just a random sound that occurs when you are in the wilderness. Installing this mods insects patch doesn't catch it. Any idea whether there is going to be a fix for this?
What Sound mods are you using if any? Vanilla has a generic forest sound but Sounds of Skyrim has a unique sound for insects in the wild. I wouldn't let this overwrite too many sound files if you have them. Although, if you're using Mod Organizer you can hide or delete the files instead of overwriting them. That way you could have an excellent mix of sounds and use the sound effects this mod replaces.
I have looked high and low for a fix to the "HEY SKEEVER-BUTT, MELON-NOSE, SLUG BREATH" insult bug that seems to happen everytime you or an NPC shoots an arrow or a dragon is near...Does this mod fix it, if not does anybody know how to take the "insults" out of the game for good?
I am this is old, but in case it helps someone, that bug is solved by the following:
Open console by hitting ~ Click on the offending NPC. Their refID (or BaseID ? I'm not sure, it is either one of the two) will show. Enter the command: addfac db1 -1
Here is information on the addfac console command: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/742132-factions-and-you/
The problem is that no NPC should be included in the db1 faction, but sometimes mods include them, either on purpose as a tweak or accidentally, I don't know.
