IF YOU EXPERIENCE ANY ISSUES with this mod, please make sure you have followed standard troubleshooting procedures for Skyrim before asking for help. I cannot promise support for any of my mods unless you BEGIN A BUG REPORT in the "bugs" tab of this page.
If you submit a report, please explain the issue as carefully as possible, and provide exact steps required - preferably from the start of a new game - to reliably reproduce the issue. If I'm unable to reproduce the problem, it's less likely that I will be able to help solve it.
ALL OF MY MODS are dedicated to the PUBLIC DOMAIN. This means that NO PERMISSION IS NECESSARY to reproduce them all or in part in any way you wish. Keep in mind that some mods that include content by other authors may or may not require their permission. Also consider that uploading new versions of any mod will probably imbue you with plenty of support requests from the community, and handling them can be a large responsibility.
My activity as a Skyrim mod author has decreased greatly over the months and years, and it is unlikely that new features will be added to any of them, so if you are interested in officially taking over authorship of this or any of my projects, feel free to contact me.
Anyone know how to get this and the changes from EZ2C Dialogue Menu - configurable - better navigation and control : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/18466/?
I love the idea of the dialog going away but I want the changes made by EZ2C Dialogue Menu also. Anyone know a way?
No they use the same file so you have to make a choice. The .swf file from EZ2C has a config file that it uses but I just used one of the presets and it moves the choices to the bottom center. If I use vanishing mod it overides and puts it back to vanilla location.
I think its possible to merge the 2 swf files but I can't find any tools yet. If I could merge them then maybe the EZ2C changes AND Vanishing would work together? Anyone know a good tool or how to on this?
I've found a few tools but they are for older OS so I mite try them on older pc. I was able to crack the swf open for both mods but its so much code that I can't tell what's what. I was going to try to merge the bits of one to the other but its too much for me. I tried combining them but the program just stacked the code instead of merging. its all above my head
BDC is merged into this one that's why it works together. From what I can gather its going to need one of the authors to make an update merging all the scripts and code into one, sort of like this mod and BDC has done.
ChinaGreenElvis if your out there could you maybe take a look at integrating EZ2C into your vanishing mod? Would probably be a version of vanishing without BDC as EZ2C has things like BDC but with a ton more options.
I asked the author and he said he couldn't give it Is there another way of using these mods together? I mean, it's not very important, but still. Edit: And what if we use the version 1.0 of this mod, that's not merged with the BDC? Will it make a difference?
Guys, I found this in the comment section to the EZ2C Dialogue Menu mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/18466/?tab=posts
So, there is a way to hide the text from the dialogue box, but that ugly vertical line will still be there. I still kinda want to find a way to use them both..

That post doesnot work anymore can you tell us how did you do it ?
Character name width is too narrow. Long names break into lines with large line-height. Tried to find where to enter new width value with JPEXS, but no luck. Can someone help?
Alright, the disappearing function works. However, a small pet peeve is that the character's name doesn't appear anywhere (i.e. at the bottom of the screen), even though I'm not using the "no name" version... I'm using the main one.
So, yeah just want to point out that on a widescreen monitor (2560x1080) the dialogue options are off-center (as is the name at the bottom of the screen), they are all too low. This isn't a huge problem, but results in the dialogue being too low on the screen (an annoyance) and the NPC's name being too low to be visible by the player (its Y coordinates are too far).
Is this something that would be difficult to fix? Maybe just a question of editing a couple of numbers in an editor? I'd do it myself but haven't the first inkling how to edit a .swf file :/

Did you find the answer to your question? Sorry for the delay

I'm always moving my cursor away when I select my response, but if you go too far the entire camera moves along with it.
I just played Rigmor of Bruma which has a ton of dialogue and it was so much more real without that dialogue menu always in view.
Already endorsed but thanks again.
