Just a heads up for anybody who wants to use this in SSE, the meshes and textures need to be optimized through either CAO or SSE Asset Optimizer or they won't show up correctly in the Creation Kit.
Could you give me a short rundown on how you succesfully did it with COA / SSE? I'm trying to use COA but its not working, I'm certain I am doing something wrong here.
I remember running the meshes and textures through using neccesary optimisation, no other settings should be needed. I tried it again recently and it appears to still work.
For those having trouble with using Meshes AND new Textures you need to
Meshes 1. Keep the original folders you got from downloading this mod 2. Open the Mesh folder (from this mod) 3. drag and drop the items into your Data Folder exactly once you open the Meshes.
Textures 1. same thing, keep the mod authors original folders you got from your download 2. Open the Texture folder (from this mod) 3. Drag and drop the Texture items into your Data Folder exactly once you open the Textures.
Dont drag and drop anywhere else. Not in your Data/Texture/clutter or Data /Texture / your own mods clutter folder or Data / Texture/ clutter / this mods folder saying Wallart Textures
All the items from this mod need to be dragged and dropped exactly in Data / Meshes / or Data / Textures /
So if you open a mod that says (Wallart / Meshes / wallart folder ) you NEED to make sure you start at : (Meshes / wallart folder )
This is because even though you plan to use your own folders and subfolders for the Textures and Meshes custom mods that use NEW textures need to stay as they were because the Meshes from these mods have the Texture path INSIDE the Mesh NIF.
If you try to not use the mod authors file path from the download you will not see the new textures in the CK
Why do these show up fine in Nifskope but not in creation kit? i'm not getting that red diamond "!" but just nothing shows up. And yes the paths for the textures are correct. I've just started importing other custom assets including open alchemy books which use THIS VERY texture and they work just find in both Nifskope AND CK. so what gives?
Update:
I've learned much about using Creation kit in the last few years. When something like this happens. Just hit ALT+F5 in the CK render window. A scene refresh is needed thats all.
Do not know if you are still monitoring this mod but do they work in Skyrim SSE, I have tried adding these but nothing happens, I even tried putting them through NifSkope without any success.
I'm trying to use this mod & a couple of your other mod resource packs (that are awesome btw) & I'm having trouble getting them to work in the Creation Kit. When I try to make a new static item & try to save your mods I keep getting the red "!" & the kit telling me the model cannot be found. I have tried extracting the WinRAR file to my skyrim data folder, the meshes folder itself, with the Creation Kit closed, open, I even tried dragging each item individually instead the entire folder at once & still cannot get them to work. I have manually installed several other resource packs that have worked, so I cant figure out where I'm screwing up... I really want to use your mods in my custom home. If you can, PLEASE HELP!

If you try to not use the mod authors file path from the download
you will not see the new textures in the CK
you will get the famous purple color.
