I am trying to do this for Skyrim SE, but that game does not have any music folder. Do I just drag the WAV files into the data folder? Or is there a better way to have all oblivion music in my game?
I have MW through Skyrim on physical discs. Do I just copy the music folders over? Dam Bethesda... it was so nice to be able to put your own music in the game and have it play while you were exploring...I could go exploring and Clair de Lune or some soothing music I put in the game would play.... sucks! I'll tell you what, MS will destroy the Elder Scrolls. I posted a pic of my collection...check out Morrowind a new release game $30.00. Now they are like $70.00...
For SSE Use this with Music Mods Merged and convert files to xwm. No need for wav https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4625?tab=files&file_id=182474
To convert the files to xwm use: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/8303?tab=files&file_id=27889
For installation instruction for the converter, look at: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32462?tab=description Basically you want to set the SkyrimAudioCoverter.ini set your Bitrate=6 and xwmBitrate=5

......... Learn the law. First, modding is by definition changing someones product and using their assets and engine for your own creation. There are hundreds of mods out there that change music even using other copyrights, media, and games as crossovers. Second, nobody and I mean NOBODY will ever take legal action regarding this shit. Nobody. Not Bethesda, not nexus, not the studio, not general tulius, nobody.
lol i was thinking the same exact thing. Like the SAME studio who owns the music for TES 3 and 4 owns Skyrim too, so there's nothing illegal... Just made this mod such a head scratcher honestly..
