Don't know if this mod is still being maintained, but I have an idea if for the author or anyone else who thinks they can do it. There's this greatsword in the Dragonborn DLC called the Bloodskal Blade, for those who don't know it has a unique enchantment which would be perfect for these swords. With the Bloodskal Blade in hand, using a power swing will create a wave of energy that will damage any foe it hits & it passes through both targets & terrain up to about a 2 or 3 yards. It has no charge limit, the only limit is your stamina so that's why I believe this enchantment would be great for this.
I love this mod, and have endorsed it, but I've also made a few edits. Namely, the female view in-shop/forging/in-inventory is the default steel shield. When equipped, it displays normally. I've found that it's most likely due to the ArmorSteelHylianShield MOD4 being set to armor\Steel\Steel.nif. Would you mind fixing the downloadable Mod to use the armor\Hylian\HylianShield.nif instead?
When full list of MODs displays, rightclick and choose "Select None."
Scroll through checklist for Chief01MasterSword.esp
Check Chief01MasterSword.esp and click "Ok."
After loading, there will be a + to the left of Chief01MasterSword in the far-left column; click to expand.
Expand "Armor" and "Armor Addon." Select "HylianAA," then look to the large field on the right.
If text is visible, proceed to step 9. If the field is empty, rightclick and make deselect "Hide no conflict rows."
Scroll down through text until you locate the field designated, "Male World Model." Click to the right of that designation, and above the field containing "armor\Hylian\HylianShield.nif".
Drag selected field to the greyed out, "Female World Model" below.
Warning will appear, asking you if you're sure you want to change the mod. After a few seconds, the "yes, continue" button should become usable; click it. The "Female World Model" field should expand and have "MOD[#] File Name" field filled with "armor\Hylian\HylianShield.nif"
Proceed to HylianShieldAA, ArmorElvenHylianShield, and ArmorSteelHylianShield, repeating steps 9-11.
Close TES5Edit; popup will ask if you would like to save changes to MOD, and the bottom will have a checkmark asking if you would like to back-up the edited plugins. Affirm your save, load Skyrim in your preferred manner, and enjoy seeing your pretty Hylian shield displaying properly whether equipped or not.
I have installed the mod. The master sword is not appearing in the forge lists and when I use the code the console send back that the script was not compiled or could not be found. Unless I am using the command wrong I don't know how else to get this to work. It's currently the only mod I have running. The .esp, textures, and mesh files are also all loaded into the data folder.

great mod, i will definitely be downloading this for my game. i love the options you offer for crafting the sword. one question...why is iron part of the crafting materials? if anything, quicksilver or some other exotic metal instead of iron, i mean what part of the sword would be made from such a weak material when it's been proven that the sword is made of material that can withstand the ravages of time itself.

Basically, these are merely steel versions of the Master Sword and require the same materials to craft a regular steel sword. Except for the dark version with is made of ebony.
I'm really looking forward to the backstory you have planned. I need to get back into playing Skyrim. I gotta have the Zelda feel in The Elder Scrolls.

If it's possible to edit, the blade should be a bit longer, about 3x the width of the cross-guard, (this one is only around 2.6x), and about as wide as the circular part under the cross-guard to match the in-game size.
Did you ever get anyone to do the texture for the shield? Because I'd like a shot at it. I need to learn custom textures and I might as well do it with something I have intrinsic knowledge of.
I already have one person working on it, but his time is limited, so feel free to give it a shot. Let me know when it's finished, ok?

Personally, I think it's a mod conflict.
What is the difference of the Main File shield with the Miscellaneous shield?
Any comparison image?
