I was installing this mod in NMM alongside insanity's Ice Blade of the Monarch and got a conflicting file message for "Render.jpg", I chose not to over write as I figured they were either the same file or inconsequential to each other since they are both in a screenshots folder within the respective archives, please confirm this is so.
Probably part of the Mortal Mental Stress thing going on. Technically the moons are actually infinite in size, but so is Oblivion which is a "bigger infinity" than the moons, so it's an infinity surrounded by an infinity. That coupled with the fact that us mortals can't actually process how said infinities really look means we perceive them as round objects and such.
In short, the dark shroud around the edges is most likely a perceived "blending" of Oblivion around the moons. Like a rock that's partially submerged in water.
Will this work with a mod that enlarges the moons?
I installed this last night along with Akindain's 26 Moon Size Tweeks [link], chose 1.5x normal size for both moons, and uploaded a couple of screenshots for InsanitySorrow's approval.
