I know you don't like Deadly Dragons but I have a suggestion. The DD roster includes a "Bone Dragon" that summons 3 draugr deathlords to fight the player for a limited time. You don't need to kill all of them for them to disappear. Two I think are mainly for melee and the third is a marksman for ranged. Perhaps instead of the Soul Cairn summon you could conisder giving Alduin this shout in a future update?

Edit; Or at least allow him to summon like 4-6 wrathmen? I just find it puzzling that he'd only summon one undead creature to fight especially when you have 3 other essential companions who can easily overpower it despite its toughness.

    Endorsed.

Fought Alduin in both his confrontations first with just DDragons and second with both that and this (this loaded after) and it was only after installing this that he truly became fearsome to my level 67 warrior. Both fights were tough, and the first definitely felt like a warm-up -- as though Alduin did not take me seriously until I came for him in his hidey-hole. This was the most appreciated element, as it removed the feeling of "great, now do it again!"

Lost 3 weapons to him in the last battle, though (my Dragonbone Waraxe, Dawnbreaker and a nifty Dragon Priest Staff from Strong Enemy Extreme) -- removing Disarm would be my only request, since I was completely unable to recover any of the weapons I lost. Without knowing he had that shout, someone might go in with only one or two of their best weapons and lose them both, potentially becoming unable to defeat him.

I had only a single Ultimate Healing potion and a level-up for instant-heals and wound-up needing both of them (his flame breath does incredible damage, even with my magic-resist cap modded to 90%, but that's what potions and Become Ethereal is for...) plus heavy use of Become Ethereal to escape and heal up, all the while with his summoned undead nipping at my heels. I've never had to use so much of the valley to evade him, before. Went through two melee weapons and a staff before switching to my as-yet un-improved Blades Sword for the killing blow. d:

Definitely a memorable battle. Thank you!

it is due for an update, although I have to admit that I'd say the damage belongs to DD.
sorry about the weapons can you check if the disarm shout is still present after deactivating my mod? maybe it's been added by DD.

I'm planning an overhaul, mate, inspired by old school RPGs (D& 3.5, Planescape Torment, a bit of Baldur's Gate, NWN, Seiken Densetsu 3 and just a bit of FF). Alduin himself will become a worthy final boss, but tomorrow I have a gargantuan exam so nothing before that. Wish that I pass, please I need all the support I can get.

in the rebooted version he'll get, in addition to the existing ones:
    Soul Cairn Summon
    Drain Vitality
    Soul Tear
    Extended dragon storm call
    PC Fire Breath
    PC Frost Breath

    and, of course, more hp.

tougher alduin: unnecessary with the next update, at it only adds more hp.
DD: it changes shouts and shouts consequences. + the various shouts alduin has. I can't really add them in my version as that would be stealing.
this is essentially an immersion-variance mod.

Alters him how? I didn't ask about the changes they made to him since version 4 of deadly dragons. By the way will it work with tougher Alduin? How would you suggest I load the 3 mods if not?
