Well that's unfortunate. I was going to ask if you could split the books up into more smaller volumes and decrease the rarity to make it more of a hunt to find all the recipes.
Hello. Could you please re-open your old version. I somehow screwed things up royally, and my saves are now unplayable. The warning that some content is no longer available comes up, and after loading the save, I have the most horrible lag.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I've tried the clearinvalidregistrations command. I'm wondering if reinstalling the old version might help.
Good stuff... I was gonna say, that an error like that would be an engine issue... Nothing I could do on my end...
But, if you did want to uninstall... Then I would go to an isolated cell (no NPCs), new save... exit game, remove, and restart... then save a completely new one... You would get the message when you launch, but I can't imagine any reason it wouldn't load...
Even with the level list as long as the cell has no NPC's and its just you, it would be fine... I've tried even with the books all over a cells floors...

But i just got to the college WH, and urug blub blob blib hasnt got the alchemy books for sale?
I installed the mod correctly and is ticked in the data section + i dnt have too many mods, none that should effect this, apart from economics of skyrim + its dawnguard patch, but that just means these alchemy books will probably cost around 2.4 million septims!... but im not worried about that?
Not sure if anyone is following or updating this mod anymore, but - in game im off to sarthal for the excavation mission, which im only doing to get the 3rd bit of the gaulder amulet, but i prob wont go back to the college for a while after that, so will come back next week see if anyone replies or can help?
To note, they will be affected by level lists... But it is also very random, level 30 they should start to show up on mages etc...... I did make them hard to find as they do have some major information in them... If everything goes pears then there are free copies hidden in a shop in Dawnstar...

Won't be visiting dawnstar for a while (just on the sky haven alduins wall mission) but when I'm that way will look out for them!
I'm level 27 at mo, so that's prob why i haven't seen any yet, still dunno why the annoying orc in the college library didn't have them for sale? not sure if that's tied to the level 30 (tier 4) thing you mentioned.
I traveled to Dawnstar, waited to night fall and burgled the Morter and Pestle! So i checked both chests in there, i checked behind the counter (there was book there...nope, was a volume of something else!) i checked behind baskets, the beds, in the cupboards, you name it, i checked it! I completely tore the place apart... slightly annoyed at this failure, and not wanting to leave empty handed, I then stole everything of value and quickly left! Poor freda would have had a heart attack returning from her alto wine at the windpeak!
I also did a 'pickpocket' on freda but she didn't have the books either, could not think anywhere else, logically, they would be in dawnstar, unless I am a bit thick or slow (Would not be first time... lol ) so i will wait till level 30, I'm level 29 now.
I will see if they turn up at the 'tier 4' level like you originally said in the descriptions, hopefully they will turn up on a few mages? When I get to level 30 Mage Hunting Season will officially begin!! Though i did assume i could still buy theses alchemy books from moody urgag at the college, at any time even before level 30??
p.s i did double check i installed correctly, your .esp file is in the data folder, all other mods work?? i even tried changing the load order but no luck? I should have asked this first, but do i have to start a NEW game for them to show up? (Even though I'm sure i installed this before i started my new game??)
I placed them on top of the cupboard nearest the stairs up in the Mortar Pestle... They are as clear as day... All three stacked on top of each other, also they are there from level 1, and you don't have to steal them because they are marked as the players property...
If you still can't find em I would have to link it to another mod that is installed conflicting by editing the Mortar Pestle world space... I've tried it on a couple of computers and some different installs and had no problems... Also don't forget to Wyre Bash your mod list just to make sure everything is smooth as a nuns... well... anyways...
Hopefully the stars will merry up allow you these books...

The way the books are made, unfortunately would mean a bit of work to add new pages... But, we'll see how it goes... Still trying to Mudbox and 3d Max new models...
