You need to find the nif that you want to replace this with and change the name to correspond.
Example: I changed the ugly female bandit armor with sleeves to this one by changing afurhidef_0.nif to bodyf_0.nif and the 1.nif version as well.
Put it in the folder it is replacing (or use mod organizer and 7.zip into new folder with corresponding mesh folder structure). EXP: meshes/armor/bandit. And remember to put in the textures as well or you may get purple texture. You do NOT need to change the texture folder setup that comes with the mod. The nif of the mesh points to the textures and messing with the texture folder will give you purple textures. Or worst.
You don't need the esp unless you also want the crafting from this mod and the armor to also be standalone.
This will work with most outfits as long as the outfits don't come in multiple parts. If they do come in multi parts you need to use creation kit. And I have not tread there yet. I think that only the meshes will change and crafting and armor rating will remain vanilla.
Elbows on female character become invisible when i wear hide bracers. Is it normal? Here what i'm talking about http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/4875/armsg.jpg
I wish that there were more of these simple, practical lore-friendly armors available. I mean Skyrim is a f***ing cold place and everyone would be wearing these types of armor/clothing.
Nice job, (downloading your Colovian leather even as we speak.)
Is anyone having problems with the way the light falls on the fur ? I was using it in dragons reach and it was really weird like dark when it should be light and visa versa. This was only the second mod I made by actually using a 3d program and I'm making a major update that should fix all issues And be skinned a lot better so it moves more fluidly with the body Edit: files in dl section are updated and there should now be no lighting issues and the skinning is much improved the skirt section should move as a skirt and not pants

The Vanilla female one is annoying with that boob window

Hope this helps.
Been trying to do it in Construction Kit for 3 hours now, and no luck
