Anyone actually try this yet because I have, and found no Scalloped file... A bit like having a car with wheels, but no engine. I think maybe hyperactivechild forgot or missed uling that file, anyhow the rest seems ok,but can't be used at the moment because of missing file... I'm sure sooner or later hyperactivechild will read this because it's one click away from endorsements...
@ Galanham Hi man, since the author of this mod clearly stated in the description that he will or maybe not read the comments and from what you're saying i realize you are stuck at the Heightmap Conversation here are some things tha may be of use to you in one way or another:
1. TESAnnwyn is a heightmap import/export utility it can turn the 3D landscape contained in one or more ESP/ESM game files into a single heightmap image, or import a heightmap image back into a 3D landscape. You can download it here TESAnnwyn. Instructions on how to use TESAnnwyn are included with the distribution as HTML file.
2.Oscape; how and what it does can be found here Oscape. I would also recommend a video tutorial on Worldspace Level Of Detail made by Alexander J. Velicky that can be found here Worldspace LOD
Hi hyperactivechild! Please can you tell me how you generated lod with TESAnnwym? I've been trying for a long time to make a Middle Earth map from lord of the rings with the help of a few designers but we constantly fail to convert it to esp and esm using TESAnnwym. I have the GeoControl program to edit terrain and a height map of middle earth, and I've tried including following this forum here but nothing: http://hoddminir.blogspot.com.br/2012/02/from-heightmap-to-worldspace-in-skyrim.html If I send you a height map of middle earth could you make a map of it 16384 x 16384 and send me through email? Or at least, try to explain which programs I should try or any advice on how to work with TESAnnwym? Thank you! Your support will be very helpfull!
Very nice! i tried to do something like this but have no idea how to generate a landscape -.- so i ended up having to use those squares of dirt... took waaayyy too long to do.
