Is this mod compatible with Extended Encounters and or Immersive creatures and SkyMoMod V12? i used the Wyre Bash for the immersive creatures and skymomod to be compatible
I care Long time fan. I do get the odd crash once in a while, don't know if it's from this mod or not. My game is pretty stable and usually I can play for hours at a time with no problems at all. I've only seen the "I'm gonna die" dude once in about a year and a half of playing with this mod, and he was just laying on the ground dead, I really didn't mind at all.
I keep finding Mr "I SPAWN "S***" everywhere. I don't like him. I understand he's used in the spawning of encounters. The problem is, now i know that, whenever i see him i'll start looking for the encounter, which disrupts the immersion. s: Is there a way to get rid of him?
Make him invisible. And size of a mouse. In my mod I use three ghosts that cannot be seen, heard, touched . The mod author here is welcome to copy the settings from my mod for the ghosts. A custom edited body is involved.
Regarding the author's new post which I assume will become a sticky (which I'd just respond to directly if we weren't encouraged to do so), I read it and I care.
I used to use this mod forever and LOVED it. The HSR version combined with DFB Random Encounters MCM menu allowed me to turn Skyrim from a dead, barren landscape of boredom to an exciting combat zone where there was always something to do. Sadly, I used to get crashes and never really knew why. I didn't think that it was this mod until I was able to identify it as a problem just a couple of weeks ago. As mentioned below, I entered a cave only to see half a dozen nobles and bodyguards in it. Immediate crash.
I would be very happy to see an improved version of this mod. I'd personally be disappointed to no longer have an HSR version, since that's my preference, but regardless of the capacity I'd really just like to be able to enjoy your work again. Thanks for the update- if nothing else, it confirms that I should keep this mod deactivated and wait for the new one- and thank you for continuing this project.
Ok, I'm not sure if anyone is going to see this, or if anyone even cares, but it's worth a shot.
So the plan is that this mod is going to become discontinued/obsolete. The reason being that I was supposed to be done with this mod ages ago, but new issues keep cropping up involving stuff that I overlooked when I originally made the mod.
That being said, I currently have another mod in development. It essentially does the same thing as this mod, but better. It still won't have specific customization like other mods, but it won't have the problems that this mod has. Not only that, but it'll be able to spawn location-specific stuff, like Forsworn (who'd only spawn in The Reach). I'll be posting links to it on this page once its done, so that newcomers get redirected to the new mod.
So far the new mod is working well. The current plan is for it to come in two major versions: Basic - which will use the game's existing animal spawns to create encounters (similar to how the current mod works), and C.S.P. - which will use custom spawn points across Skyrim to create encounters. Both versions will have a fairly low spawn rate so as to avoid over-populating the land. At the moment I have no plans to make a H.S.R. version (although that could change), so if someone wants to alter the spawn rates, you'll need to do it yourself with either TES5edit or the Creation Kit.
That's all for now. No idea when the new mod will be finished, as I've got a lot going on at the moment and my spare time is limited.
I'm assuming the trio of mercenaries with ebony weapons, (almost) equal-quality armour and a contract to kill the Dragonborn were added by this mod? They spawned where a Snow Bear/Frost Troll/other snow creature normally is. Was a nasty surprise, that one was. Especially because it was past 7pm, and nights in my game get pitch-black. Aura Whisper saved me.
Am really enjoying this mod; the above is not critique. Just a first-time experience.
I just had something kind of similar happen but with worse results.
I was playing the game for about 2 hours when I made my way to Brood Cave just southeast of the crabber's shack. I entered the cave and was startled to see twin nobles and several identical bodyguards inside the cave heading towards the exit. Then my game crashed to the desktop.
I'm not sure which of my mods are responsible, but I'm only using a couple dozen and this one's the only one that adds new encounters. Until I can figure it out I've got to disable the mod.
Hi, started to use ur mod recently. Have problem with bounty hunter. He ignores invisibility and stealth skill. Imean he doesnt see through it but i can't get away from him, he jsut follows me like some follower, but on some distance like 30 meters, untill i show myself to him, then he attacks. So what i want is to be able to get away from him without killing him (i am level 2 or 3 and i cant kill him anyhow cos of my difficulty setting + defficulty mods). And its just looks strange when i get away with stealth skills, cross rivers, mountains etc. but he always know where i am and just follows me, not immersive at all.
Updated to 1.5 and received new MCM menu called "Extra Encounters Basic". The menu is empty.
I have Extra Encounters HSR, Extra Encounters Dawnguard and Extra Encounters Dragonborn installed. I have never used Basic version. Something is wrong with this I suppose?
Once upon a time I actually tried creating a customised menu for the mod, but I ended up abandoning it very quickly.
Unfortunately it seems that I then forgot to delete the menu. So yes it's supposed to be blank, but it's also not supposed to be there.
I don't really feel like re-uploading everything just to get rid of it. If it really annoys you, just go into the Creation Kit (or even TES5Edit) and delete the menu yourself (look under 'Quest', delete the entry starting in 'AAA' ) . If you need help with that, just let me know.

The new mod can be found here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58613/?
Edit: Now endorsed, because I was terrified endorsements included cash transactions. :\

Hostile Bounty Hunters aren't even supposed to spawn until you reach lvl 30, so I have no idea what's going on there.

Thanks for clarifying that.
