Hello Bert or Anyone Else, Does anyone know if this can be used, to display things like claws if your home doesn't have that display for them ? ( you know a display ur own ) Nvm
Just to let you know that Bert got in touch with me today. He's been madly busy, new role in his job - loads of courses he had to attend and be away from home etc. He's asked me to let you all know he hasn't abandoned any of his mods and will try to get comments and things done as soon as he is able.
Simply AMAZING! I can't wait until you release the rest of this series!! I'm a total packrat but like to be organized and like to display my stuff (i.e. EVERYTHING) nicely. Sadly Morrowind was the last time I could really do that easily. This is an awesome fix for the bottles which are damn hard to place upright I'd love to see this for the alchemy ingredients, helms, jewelry, etc. Thanks for this amazing mod!!!
Update: This also works for beverages like ale, wine & even the Morrowind drinks and Skooma. The only exception is the Spiced WIne which sinks into any surface about 1/2 way.
Ooh, didn't notice that about the spiced wine, I'll add a catch to the next version to make sure it goes in right but I'm afraid it'll be a while until the next update as I'm working away from home most of the week at the moment but even with the little time I do have I am tweaking and finishing up bits and pieces whenever I have the time and I really do want to get something posted as soon as possible so watch this space!
p.s. couldn't agree more, I had a bit of retro nostalgia over christmas and played some Morrowind, I still love how you can drag & drop stuff from your inventory into the world and that's where it stays!!
One idea for you: Maybe there is a possibility to tweak something, so that books, that you put into bookshelves just STAND there (because mine used to fall all the time on their sides ).
THUMBS UP!!!! Whith this you are creating the mod I really was looking for. Because I didn't find a comparable mod on the nexus, that helps to display collected Items properly. So I had to live with all the Items knocked around, when I reenter any home... - since I moved into "your" breezehome
Just wondering if you could make the spells available at other vendors besides Belethor's General Goods. He gets borked in many peoples games (mine included) and I cannot get him to sell me anything.
Something that might help you in case Belethor has another accident... There are always console commands. Press ~, the button directly above your "tab" button and type in "help remo". You might have to use the "page up" button a couple of times to find the actual code, since there are several items in game that have the letter combination "remo" in them, but when you do find the display spells book codes, type them into your console as follows: player.additem <item number> 1, where the <item number> is the 7-8 (I don't remember exactly how many) digit number you see in front of the actual item name. And 1 being the amount of that item you want to receive in your inventory.
Sorry if I rambled, I'm a bit loopy following minor surgery. Hell
I'm working on another mod at the moment but once thats done I'll be coming back to this one and add it to the spell books list that gets used by all spell book sellers.
Yep! An insanely massive one as soon as I can find the time! Basically take the idea of casting the potions then expand it to include , well, everything!!! I've already got the base scripts done for casting entire, follower friendly houses wherever you like! Mannequins, bookshelves, weapon racks & plaques, done, done & done! Enter your empty house and fill it with whatever you like from furniture to rugs and paintings! You'll even be able to cast trees and plants to make yourself a nice little garden to relax in! The mod will be level based, you'll start off being able to cast a basic little farmhouse or shack and regular sacks and barrels, then, the more stuff you cast the more you level up!! At the top level you'll be able to cast huge mansions if you like, all containers, furniture, you name it! Each item you cast will cost soul gems, the more impressive the object the more it'll cost. But as you can imagine, this is going to take a LOT of work to sort out, so it'll be a while yet!
Will this affect skill trees and perks? I use SkyRe and wouldn't really want to sacrifice it. Or will it have it's own progression and not use the vanilla leveling system?
It does say "potion display", but I have had plenty of luck with all sorts of other items, too. I've put baskets on the floor, bottles and cups on tables and pairs of boots by the door (to have that lived-in look in a house). Experiment with different objects.
