Yes ... it's like that without the fix ... most likely the mannequin is displaced so much that it exits the house boundaries and you cannot see it ... but can still access the trigger which is invisible and remain on the pedestal.
Cool, thanks. I want the mannequins to work so I can display my treasures . I did for Morrowind and Oblivion..thanks for the reply! It happens when I leave a room the mannequins are in and go back in. The items are still on the mannequins..but either they don't show the graphic or the mannequin itself is invisible. I'll try that patch.
There is a scripting fix for mannequins ... http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10652
But even without this script fix, your stuff shouldn't disappear ... it just fixes the mannequins position ... it never happened to me, neither with the vanilla nor custom mannequins.
This said ... the mannequins are still moving around a bit, randomly ... in this case you just click on the pedestal (where the trigger is) and chose either 'Do Nothing' or 'Change Pose' and they will be reseted in the initial position.
Does this mod have the mannequin fix? I've tried other house mods with mannequins and I swear everyone..my stuff disappears that I put on the mannequin. Or the mannequin itself disappears. This may be a Bethesda thing. Looks like a cool mod though.
it looks pretty good, and it is similiar to my favorite house mod for morrowind (Ravenloft, lots of storage and had no worldspace, could only get in by teleporting) the kind aplace i've wanted the whole time i've played.
Edit: wow.. going to guess ya use alot of weapon/armor/companion mods? geez, so much named storage.. couldnt possible use it all, in all my playthrus.
very nice tho, but once decorated, i'm thinking it might lag a bit.
There is a small tombstone near the Halls of the Dead in Whiterun ... you can enter/exit that way, but that was just so i can finalize the navmesh. The idea was to access it through teleport only ... so there are Alteration spell tomes called Sanctuary ... The one that will teleport you inside is located in Dragonsreach in the wizard chamber ... the rest can be found inside in the Arcane Chamber inside the home ... they will teleport you to Whiterun, Riverwood, Markarth, Solitude, Windhelm, Winterhold and Riften ... if you learn them, if not, you could simply exit normally in Whiterun.
I uploded an image with the map ... it's just one cell, one level.
