For SE version. Extract the files from Data/Skyrim - Patch.bsa/Interface to Data/Interface directory which you want to override. Just don't replace quest_journal.
P.S. Cheers for all the horrible comments about a mod that took about 6 years of mine (and Schlangster's) life to develop and support :)
Seriously one the best mods ever, schlangster is an asshole for forcing players to use his shitty ui just to have an mcm its the only reason skyui has so many downloads.
hi playing with a controller here. The skyui 5.0 menu for smithing was clearly not designed for controllers, but the enchanting and alchemy are. is there a way that we can remove just the smithing and keep the enchanting and alchemy menus somehow?
please help, when I put the craftingmenu file on my interface folder the crafting returns to normal, but I can no longer use the right analog stick of my xbox controller! How can I solve that?
I always use this mode and I have never had problem with it until now, I can't install it for some reason, it says that I am running it already and it never gets installed for that reason, even I rebooted my PC and it isn't still working. I don't know what's happening and I don't see anyone with the same problem here. :/
Is there any way to have one crafting menu but not the other(s)? What I mean by that is, I like the alchemy menu in SkyUI but I hate the smithing menu, and they both seem to be tied to craftingmenu.swf; Is there any way to have one but not the other?
It is possible to pick what screens you want, but this requires manual installation. Just install the new Interface files for the menus that you want back to Vanilla.
Wrong Brandon007. You should learn to read more carefully. The OP is asking if they can pick and choose among the crafting menus. But as the OP correctly states, the crafting menus are all contained in craftingmenu.swf. So it is all or nothing. Which is a pity since the alchemy and enchanting menus are a big improvement over vanilla.
It's a shame we can't pick the crafting menus we want but it's not SkyUI's fault. I really like the ShyUI menus for Alchemy but I like the vanilla menus at the forge just as much. The categorization of smithing schools makes it much easier to find what I want to craft when I need new gear.
I guess it's a case that a person has to figure out which stuff they're going to craft more often throughout the game and stick with the version that works best. In my case, I craft potions all the time whereas crafting weapons and armour are only done when I need an upgrade.
Only way for that to happen is if SkyUI-Away & SkyUI5 were one mod and we could design menus in MCM...that would be something or maybe if SkyUI's Forge Menu had subcatergories

We are, except the guy who made SkyUI.
