Endorsed X1000. Great mod and i'm going to use this for my play through. I also carry 10 plus followers, so I love the fact there are no loading doors and the followers can roam the entire area. Also, it's cool that the outer gate not only close, but locks. Great work, only two things missing, fertile soil plots and a display case. Luckily, I have a greenhouse with over 200 planters and Eli's Dovah Vault so i'm covered. Thanks for sharing this wonderful mod.
Just wondering but ehh im using a gtx760 with 2gb of vram and a crappy i3 3220 im way way above the recommended specs (i think) and im running really really low fps its about 3-10 frames per second when looking at the house and in the area of the house and the avg frame rate on my pc with skyrim is about 30 to 60 with an enb theres no diffrence with the frame rates between having the enb on and off is there any way to fix this? Thanks
Unfortunately that is the down side to this mod, it is a FR killer due to its size, the amount of items in the house and the textures. But I wanted a large house for my self and the seven followers I had there horses and a large area for displaying.
I did every thing I could to help with the FR problem by putting occlusion panels in some of the walls.
It's the way the game works. When you enter the cell the game generates every thing in that cell with in the players view. even though you as the player only see the front of the house the game see's every in the thing house dragging down FR. The occlusion panels help by not letting the game see past them, but with all the windows there are holes in it
The best way to get past this is to look down at the ground when you approach the house from the main gate or any other angle so the house is not in full view.
My specs: AMD FX9370 8-core @ 4.40 GHz 32.0 GB DDR3 1600MHz (pc312800) ram Twin GTX760 with 4GB Vram each in SLI on two true 16X slots .
I built the mod on a older system with a AMD 4 - core at 2.6 and twin ATI 4870 twin core Vcards and it was real bad.
Never checked to see what my FR's were but I don't get any shutter with the new system.
Just a small note the house is only 2/3 of its original size, I cut out three bedrooms and some other stuff just so I could use it on my old system.
Amazing mod. love the house both inside and out. but does anyone know how to keep the items from being removed from your inventory. i would very much like to keep the clothes on my character and fill up my armory and i cant do that if i don't have anything to do it with. again, really cool mod!
If your are talking about your items being removed when your go in to any of the pools, they are just in safe storage till you leave that pool area and there is a message that comes up and tells you to get dressed and all your items are returned to you.
All of the storage containers are set to no respawn so you don't lose any thing.
sorry, can see its a lot of work. but for me it just doesnt fit into skyrim at all,is just like a brand new house the "sims" game.. also the postion is not good, occupies a wolf den and is next door to a blackreach lift. :shakeshead:
A year and half past since i first used this house!!! laggy but just so good !! i'll give it a go again , how u keep up the good work !! Good update!!! The fishpond is better than my real fishpond ofcourse
OK, sorry, it turns out a lot of my crashes and other problems were actually caused by Coda's Monster Hunter mod which is outdated.
However, if it doesn't already somehow function with Climates Of Tamriel, please make a COT patch for this wonderful house. Oh and I still want to see an ingame switch near the pool to disable the clothing coming off automatically at the pool (one that accounts for our inventory still being away, just in case), that part really can be annoying, I like that it can happen but not that it always does it. Also, the grindstone doesn't function i.e. the sharpening wheel.
