FWIW: "Her mouth doesn't move sometimes when she's speaking." is a vanilla bug and has nothing to do with any of the SkyTEST mods or any other modules/plugins.
I've created a port of Proserpine for Skyrim SE and tested both normal and dark skin versions in game and they work well - meshes and textures render fine. Sent a message to @zzjay asking for permission to upload to the SE Nexus - just awaiting a response.
I assume that the author has completely moved on and that permission is never coming... Whoever wishes to use this mod will just have to port it themselves.
Oh, wow, that's a bummer to hear. I guess a reason to delay switching over to Skyrim SE. I was hoping this had been ported, or it would easily work (I really don't know much about modding obviously).

Since the original creator of the character has moved,it'd be at least decent not to opt in her mods without knowing her terms on the matter,but she was totally cool in having ports over SE,just as long as its free and not opted in :)
Since Proserpine depends on one master file, she can be played in Enderal. I manually placed my 'Protine' in Ark Bathhouse where shows up naked as Skyrim clothes remain invisible which is OK by me. If you give a Standalone follower an exclusive race like 'Proserpine race' in Race list, set Proserpine follower Chargen and her 'Race' playable, then she will show up in the RaceMenu. Even better, if the standalone follower has an independent skeleton/body/tattoos like CBBE/Seven base/UNP, your PC will have that body and patterns regardless of the body type of the game itself. It means you don't need to change the game body to get your desired body type. Nor do you need to place a follower in the game world to get the body, she be placed in the built-in test room.
I would suggest creating several body type/paint job versions of Proserpine [with her own race] for players to download. Then use CK to check Follower/Race playable.
I am currently playing with a CBBE Nubian in a vanilla body world.
