I quickly looked at the effects ingame, and have to ask, what's wrong with the fire one? It's completely blurred and looks really bad. The lightning effect, on the other hand, looks absolutely stunning. I don't get it...
Btw, have you managed to learn some modelling since the release of the mod by chance? The smoke part of the fire effect is really annoying

I don't know anything about texturing or modelling. I created this like on my first week of modding just to ask: "How much better would these enchantments look if we used these effects that are already in the game?" Sorry.

This is something that I have always tried to make clear, but perhaps I have failed to do so. This mod, for me at least, was designed to be a statement that Bethesda could have used other shaders and arts already in the Vanilla game instead of the ones they chose for the enchantment shaders and arts. That is the reason that, when users tell me that I made a great mod, I usually try to redirect the credit away from me. To reiterate: all of the shaders and arts that you see on the fire/frost/shock weapons already existed in-game, but were applied elsewhere; I just decided to apply them here as well, instead of those boring original shaders. As you might be able to predict, this means that I have almost absolutely no knowledge of modelling or texturing. If you refer to the Description tab, you'll find that I've discovered no in-game shaders or art that I deem better than those I already have applied in the mod ( and I have looked at all of the shaders/arts included by the DLCs). This is, of course, a subjective assessment.

I do agree that the fire effect is disappointing. In a perfect world, I would have loved the fire enchantment to look like as it does in Dark Souls:

However, this is the best combination of a shader and art that I have found. If your distaste for it is so significant that you would prefer to have the Vanilla shader back, please PM me and I can give you instructions to achieve that. As for other types of enchantments, such as Soul Trap, no shader/art that I found that was already in the game would be better than the Vanilla shaders, in my opinion. I would recommend that you look into the other mods that alter the enchantments' shaders and/or arts.

I regret that I cannot fulfill your request, because it is unfortunately outside of my area of knowledge.

Well, the fire effect and fire sparks looks great, but the smoke is to much, how can we remove only the smoke effect?

I love these new enchantment visuals, but the smoke from a fire enchanted sword makes my fps dip a bit. Can you tell me how to remove just the smoke? (I tried the earlier version but I don't like the blue wisp coming off the blade.)

The smoke and the fire embers come as a package, unfortunately. It is possible to remove both. Under MagicEffects, type "fire" into the filter bar. You'll notice that one of the entries has been edited. When you open it up, under "Enchant Art" (I believe), choose "NONE".

If you didn't like the Blue wisps, you can remove them in a similar way to the open described above.

@llChopperDavell: This mod is relatively simple in construct, so any bugs are really unexpected. The only thing that I can think of that you haven't already tried would be un-installing and re-installing the mod and seeing if that helps. If this proves to be unhelpful and the sound is a real nuisance, then you might have to try making a new save.

I had the 1.2 version with sound installed and the frost enchant sound effect was on all the time, even when I dint have the weapon anymore. So I tried the no sound version and when I loaded in the sound was still there. So I equipped the sword and unsheathed it then re-sheathed it and the sound was gone. Problem solved I thought, but now it randomly came back and nothing I do will get rid of it. Anything I can do to fix this?

Nice, this reminds me of the "visual enchantments" from Oblivion, except this is rather subtle in a good way.

I like this mod, looking forward for the Dragonborn version. I wonder how you'll change the Chaos effect

@GODZHamm3r: Thanks for the input! I understand what you're talking about. If you refer to my previous post, you can see why the "sword shape" occurs on all weapons. While I think that it looks great on Swords and Two-Handed Weapons (and it looks tolerable IMO on War Axes and Maces), It does appear a bit strange perhaps on Daggers and, especially, Bows.
