Yup, (after 9 years) I just reinstalled this, I musta lost it from my list when re-installing Whiterun years ago... I'll not forget in the future, it's going in my "Install These" save folder with the rest of the golden mods.
This does exactly as it says. Not too fancy, but gives Whiterun a more cultivated, warmer look. After trying out so many mods, this suits my own tastes. Alongside Whiterun Lite, and Whiterun Roof Tiles, (and, um, Jaxonz Positioner to drop a few more trees/plants around) the town looks so much prettier now. Nice work.
Thank so much, this is by FAR the best Whiterun retex, it deserves way more endorsements. And it's such an important set, so many mods and other things besides Whiterun use these textures, sexy whiterun makes everything mismatched. This is a great improvement but it also blends in well.
I love this mod, simple as it be it makes a huge difference........I hope you do similar things in the future, such as Rorikstead, Falkreath, Riften....
Great Mod! I was experimenting for sooo long with Sexy Whiterun but could never tweak it to my tastes. Especially the roofs drove me nuts. This mod is great as standalone and deserves way more endorsements. I combinded it with Sexy Whiterun for my personal tastes though.
If anyone else is interested in a good mix, here's what you do: 1. Unpack Sexy Whiterun in a safe place, then delete the following textures: naildecal.dds naildecal_n.dds 2. Unpack TheWinterhawks textures and override Sexy Whiterun's textures
I just have to say that I really love this version of Whiterun. Everything is so much warmer looking. I have it coupled with Beautiful Whiterun and everything looks amazing. Thank you so much!
This Retexture-Version is much better as the ugly "Sexy Whiterun"-Version.. Yours look more natural and more medival. The Guards looks great with their yellow/brown armor and in the background the brown houses..G-R-E-A-T work..my self-made Home looks now better because I use the same textures like Whiterun..
