r6, you should ask mxr to review your mod again, I am sure that it'd be a nice change to have your mod popping again for a while, even though he won't keep it as his mod preset.
Lens flares are not realistic, they are cinematic and most of the time they are added effects. They do happen in our vision occasionally, usually when we squint and/or obstruct our own vision with our own anatomy (eye lashes etc) but not this kind of effect (anamorphic/widescreen horizontal lens flare)
Do you even know how the anamorphic lens flare is made? Cameras in these days have "perfect" lenses, so clear that those reflections are almost invisible. Almost. Take a small video camera - there is anamorphic lens flare, most of the time vertical - which is caused by the CCD sensor. But in movies, the effects are not "visible enough", so most of the time they are computer generated effects. I wear glasses and I know how to get REAL anamorphic lens flares right into my vision.
im going to assume the bloom is responsible for those lens flares, because im pretty comfortable with my real vision set up but i would love to have just that lens flare that you get.
and don't make it whit enb-serie because there performence is very low and i have already skyrim on ultra and some good mods on it ,35Fps, you need to try it the next time on a texture or effect that's maybe better performence and may it looks better (i don't no about it)
You should make the lens flare optional, it is only good for taking screenshots IMO. Edit: is this identical to realistic cinema besides realistic have the cinematic bars?
@sydney666 they can still look good though look at battlefield 3 for example.

Maybe if it could be toggled on/off if you switch between 3rd/1st person.
