Creative, brilliant. Imaginative, Some difficult jumping puzzles and climbing puzzles, lots of bandits, a few construction problems leaving world holes and fighting textures. Traps. Lots of traps, some simple, some complex. A few places where I crashed, but going back to the save and replaying that section worked fine. Save often.
So yeah, kudos to David Montecalvo, this is an awesome dungeon, and well worth endorsing.
I keep getting CTD when I try an enter the Magma Chamber. Is this a probelm with anyone else? I used Loot to check on load order and I get the message: •Warning: Contains 4 ITM records. Clean with TES5Edit.
Same here with my port of the mod to SSE. It looks like some systems have a hard time handling the size of the magma chamber. I noticed that the CTD happened when looking out into the distance towards the north when the chamber came into view, and the SSE crash log was always reporting the Worldview camera was involved.
So as a workaround, I got though by doing most of it in "top-down" and that prevented the crashes. So it's not any particular asset that seems to cause the problem, it's just that the game engine seems to have a hard time handling the lot of them together in the chamber on some systems.
Big mod small file size. Gotta say I was skeptical when I saw that 227KB and then I didn't think it even worked because "to the right of Riften" doesn't exactly tell you where this place is. After finding it, I must say, I have never died so many times in my entirety of playing this game! Excellent job on creating something out of nothing! Literally there was nothing but a mountain where this dungeon is. I am very impressed! The only complaint I have is that my follower will not enter this location, but they would probably die anyway. I am playing this in 2019 on Skyrim LE. Great job!
Pros: - Interesting trap and platforming design - Killing a whole bunch of enemies feels really good - Good variety of enemies, battle is challenging and fun
Glitches: - Last part, from waterfall, many places where you can fall through the map or get teleported somehow - Last part, 2 bandits in guard tower, no entrance into the tower - so how did the bandits got in? - Some doors can't be opened. If they are not meant to be opened I think put a rubble in front of them would make more sense
Cons: - Very little dwarven automaton enemies considering this is a dwarven ruin - Dwarven automatons and bandit invaders are close to but not attacking each other, makes no sense - Suddenly a space ship pops up in the end, makes no sense
Suggestion: - Maybe instead of having a story of simply an army of bandits invading a dwarven ruin, we can have a story of large expedition investigating this ruin for promise of treasure and power, but something suddenly gone wrong and people got trapped in the ruin for a long time, and in time pressure and fear makes them turn against each other or gone crazy...?...
Quite excellent there Mr Dave -- with exceptional 3D architecture.
I would suggest placing a MAP in your list of snapshots. I had to go to youtube to find it. Lots of others have the same frustration finding out where the place exists -- and I might add that is the BIGGEST FRUSTRATION about all new dungeons, caves, etc is finding out where in the heck they are located. Just saying "to the right of Riften" missed it by a lot. This is like making a Rolls Royce without a muffler. More correctly "it is about 2 miles at the 2 o'clock position of Riften".
If I were the king of Nexus, I would positively REQUIRE A MAP -- to find new places....and I might add --- some do that quite well.
Other than that - my regards and many thanks!
-Dale
agreeing of course ... but you can always coc to the place ... well, almost ... (to the exterior entry point I mean or directly to the interior, which does kill the "lore-friendliness" of course)
just type in console help gersonia 4 and ENTER, scroll the list up till you find the CELL lines and find the exterior entry cell. Should be something like gersoniaext, gersoniaexterior, gersoniadoor, or so ... and coc to it.
that for your next lost dungeon ... haha .... usually happens to me too

Digging among old mods may be surprisingly rewarding !
