The textures look extremely low res. You might want to try and actually not make it look like mud or something. No offense, just criticism. I like the idea though, even though it's not a mod I would use permanently.
Maybe instead of altering the tails themselves, you could make an armor to go over top of the exhisting tail. Perhaps use some leather strips and teeth to craft them at a forge? I'd love to download this if it didn't replace the default tail. There's a lot of interesting possibilities here.

I wish I could have them all, is there a possibility for a new option when creating an Argonian to change between different tails? That would be wonderful! But if not, that's alright... I just gotta decide on one of these amazingly awesome and cool new meshes. P: Gonna be very hard!
Oh, uhm, does this replace all Argonian tails or just your characters? I'm guessing all character's since it's a new mesh...
