Here's a bunch of frequently asked questions (seriously, some of these gets asked every 2 posts) that should hopefully answer your questions before you decide to ask something that has already been answered (likely several times).

The original mod for Skyrim: Special Edition can be found here.

    Q: CAN U PLX PUT ON BETESTHA.NET?!=!!11
A: Sure... it's already there at:
    Beards [XB1] at Bethesda.net

Q: Do I need to use the .esp?
A: No. I recommend you do however, there's no particular reason you shouldn't. If it's a maxed out load order you're concerned about:
    1) You're modding wrong, you should never have that many mods installed.
    2) If you absolutely must, you can use TES5Edit to merge minor mods together (such as this one, with, for example Brows and other similar mods).

Q: PLX MAEK THIS OR THIS ONE BEARD!11
A: You didn't bother read the description, did you? I'll make new beard styles eventually.

    Q: R U GONA RETEX KHAJIIT BEARDS??!
A: The sideburn/mane beards are included within Beards. The whiskers/mustaches are part of hair textures and will thus be found in my upcoming Hairs mod.

Q: WUT?!? COLORZ OF HAIR AND BEARDS NO MATCH?!?!?!?!11!11one
A: This is intended. That's how Bethesda made it, and I intend to keep it that way. In real life, we rarely have the same beard and hair color, especially if we have a brighter hair color. It's not uncommon to have a hint of red in your beard, if you're blonde, dark blonde, or even darker.

You'll have to ask the mod author of that mod. It's all vanilla meshes. I don't touch those.

Not sure what you're asking for, I see my mods used in the screenshots for the mod.

my problem is that my character when selecting a beard from your mod looks misaligned as it is in front of the face. The mod of the link that I mentioned happens the same with the vanilla beard because it is not compatible with it and I am having the same problem with this but only using the cotr, but on vanilla faces your mod suits me perfectly

Oh yeah, then I'm not the one to ask for patch or compatibility. Ask them if they can't provide that for vanilla beards, as Beard uses the same meshes.

This is for both NPC and player characters. They use the same beards and textures.

The beards looks awesome.. Now if only I could find hairs that match the awesomeness of the bears. Vanilla hairs (or retex or other mods) just don't quite fit the awesomeness of these beards.

Well usually when someone writes "not to be disrespectful" it usually is. Most folks would upload and share their own variant with improvements for the betterment of the community and well, for the enjoyment of the art, otherwise they might look like a total dick.  No one wants that.

      What @Aanvil said.

If there's such a minor improvement, or even considered bad in your opinion, you're more than welcome to put in the effort to make your own mod.
You haven't downloaded the mod, so your opinion holds no value at all, even considering the photos do show quite a drastic improvement over the vanilla textures. But each to their own. You do you, and stick to the vanilla textures, as I have a feeling you're not gonna try improve the textures on your own.

55k endorsements speaks for itself. But jealously is an ugly thing. And you're right, you didn't come off as being respectful.

What graphic overhaul are you using in the screenshots for the npc's face? I'm looking for a good npc graphic overhaul to pair with your mods.

If you're asking for the face textures specifically I think I used two different texture mods and merged them together for personal use. I don't remember entirely.

I can't even provide an educated guess with the information I've been provided. I personally don't play legacy Skyrim when SE is available, so I can't test it myself. I have a fairly beefy pc myself.

I doubt loadorder has anything to do with it, unless you have any other beard mods installed. Even so, my beard textures should hopefully take precedence unless you managed to overwrite something. The textures should obviously look as shown in the screenshots.
