Looks like the mod author is long gone but I can confirm incompatibility with Alternate Start, Live Another Life. The mentioned mod adds a farm at the bottom of lunds hut and the terrain gets messed up with this mod installed. I messed with load order and found that if ASLAL is loaded after Romantic Hut, the two somewhat fit together though there are some not so smooth texture breaks, like cracks to hell, around the area. If you use or plan to use both, I recommend changing the load order depending on what you want to do in your play through.
To people reading this in 2016 or later. (Sorry for the late reply!)
Things like these ALWAYS come from mod conflicts. One mod author does his work in the hut. Another just clicks to see how things are made, and bam you've got it. One author did not intend to change anything, while the other made a change for purpose. Change your Load order or take a look at TES5edit too see which mods clash with this one ans clean it. Simple as that!
This mod was waaay better than I was expecting it to be! I thought it would be one of those basic farmhouse mods - the kind you just stop in to sleep because there aren't any other nearby options. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find a very thoughtfully done little abode. The decorations and furniture are well placed, the outdoor area is landscaped (I love the bench overlooking the view and the little pond), and the named storage was very surprising for such a compact home. Great job!
Love the mod really nice, one small problem. Lund's body remains inside along with a few Skeever bodies. That doesn't make it very romantic, unless your a Necromancer. Is there anyway possible to remove such things?
Lund and the Skeevers were put under the surface. If they are still visible you have a memory issue, unfortunately very common with Skyrim.
Here are my solutions for you:
1. Leave the hut, open the console, type in "pcb" (without quots) and enter again.
2. (ONLY if no. 1 wasn't successful) So, if the bodies are still there, I'd suggest you travel far away, wait until the respawn time is over (the game default is 31 days, I think. If you have a mod, that shortens it, of course respawn time will be shorter.) Purge your cell buffer again with "pcb" and enter the hut.
3. If the first two methods did not work (OR if you don't want to wait 31 days), there's one more thing you can do. Disable the bodies. Open the console, click on the one body, type "disable" and hit enter. Do that with the other bodies as well. Don't worry, the bodies will not be deleted, they will just not be shown any longer.
I'm sorry for your trouble, but I've done the very best I can, so far, without deleting the bodies, by moving them under the surface (and I think I've even disabled them initially). If I delete them, it may cause severe problems. The thing is just, IF you've been in the hut, before you installed my mod, the initially disabled function doesn't kick in and additionally the game still remembers their old position. Memory handling in Skyrim sucks... alas... One thing we have to live with.
Good Luck and tell me, if you were successful! =)
P.S.: Oh, if all that doesn't work, it may also be, that another mod, touched the bodies and that mod is lower in the load order. Try moving my mod down in the load order then. But I'm pretty sure your trouble will be solved by one of the other methods.
I have the same flickering problem near the bed as reported by P210. Disabling the "extra floor" (id 000dddfb) fixes the problem for me also. I have several mods installed (including texture replacers like SMIM), maybe one of them is the culprit... I have the Hut last in my loading order btw.
I tried this mod again today (I reinstalled Skyrim since the last time) and there's no "extra floor" anymore. So probably it was just a conflicting mod, or a load order problem. Anyway very nice little house, thanks for your work.
