Simple elegance. Adds to Breezehome without changing what Breezehome is. Endorsed.
I would like to report an incompatibility with "Alternate Start - Live Another Life". ASLaL automatically selects the Alchemy Lab / Study when choosing the Breezehome alternate start, and I am unable to purchase the Child's Bedroom afterwards. The dialogue option with the steward is present as normal, but the purchase is not made, with no money being deducted.
Awesome mod! I always had trouble entering Breezehome for some reason (many, MANY CTDs). And after I installed this mod, no more problems (so far at least). Beside this it is also a good NOT overpowered mod to make Breezehome A Bit Better (tm). Thumbs up. and thank you
Also the description is awesome thanks for the chuckles as well.
Well to any people maybe considering getting this mod, here's my two cents on why it's my preference:
There are a lot of Breezehome mods, but many of them are over the top for me. I never thought Breezehome should be a palace. It's basically a starter home, and Whiterun always struck me as a "country comfort" sort of place. That said, I did want Breezehome to be A Bit Better (TM) -- though personally I think it's more than just a bit -- because it's a pain in the butt to have to go to Dragonsreach just to use an enchanting table, and it was missing the tasteful spritz of goodies this mod adds. I'm particularly fond of the bedroom, it's like my cozy lair now. And dem skill books, when you're level 10 -- awww yeah.
So basically, it's in my Goldilocks zone and that is aces. Also the description is cute. Respect.
Hi. Just would like to let you know that cleaning your mod with the newest edition of TES5Edit (3.0.2's automated process lists me 31 undeleted references and this warning: Plugin contains 1 deleted NavMeshes which cannot be undeleted. Maybe you could try and check it over to see if anything else is in there or may go missing after cleaning? I think the deleted NavMesh is probably because you've been modifying the upper storey of Breezehome, but I can't be sure without actually examining the thing myself, which I'm no good with.

Meanwhile I'm looking forward to trying out this mod when I can finally buy Breezehome on my new character, and your other mod to add Talos shrines also looks interesting; will be trying it out soonish! Good luck!
BOSS tells me something similar about the deleted NavMesh stuff (and links to a tutorial on how to fix it manually). I'm with Luinithil on thius, it would be cool if you could clean your mod (and then upload it as version 1.1 or whatever).
Although this mod not being very compatible with old saves was already discussed/expounded upon earlier in the comments, I just wanted to give an update on the "issues" I was having previously. It, unfortunately, must have been because I had already purchased Breezehome on that save. I started a new save with this mod enabled before I purchased it and Lydia went back to normal (going upstairs to sleep, not standing on the benches drinking (), etc.).
Awesome Breezehome mod, thanks for your hard work.

Also, don't worry about that UDR navmesh. It's inherited from Hearthfire.
