To everyone who thinks the mod isn't working, after starting up your game and you walk into sunlight and you get that visual effect telling you "it burrrns!" go into your skills menu and you'll see that you actually AREN'T being affected by the sunlight, however the negative effect will still show up in your affects page in your menus. So the mod IS working, but it doesn't remove Weakness to Sunlight from your menus. If this helps anyone then yay! Otherwise, that's all I know.
According to the lore posted on UESP, there is a type of Vampire that doesn't take damage from the sun, but is strengthened further at night. This certainly makes this mod somewhat lore friendly.
Equal what i tried, after every night the sun came back. I think someone with experience can change it, but i have no idea about working with scripts. But i can give you a link to a mod. In this mod you get a ring which have the effect you want:
