where is TESV.exe located? In MyGames/Skyrim the only folders it has are Saves and 3 text files that are full of random crap. Please help? Do I open the txt files with winrar?

That's the ini folder. Not at all what you're looking for, but still important for quite a few mods. You need to put the batch files here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data That's the most common location of the executables. You can have Steam install it somewhere else, but no one actually does that, and it would be a hassle when you started modding if you did.

For anyone having issues activating this or any other batch file.
It may seem a bit obvious for those who have experience, but sometimes directions can be a bit vague for those who don't have much experience with batch files. With that in mind, here's exactly what you need to do step by step, assuming you haven't already successfully activated batch files before.

(Copy-pasted and edited from original post, if you catch something I missed like mentioning the wrong batch name, that's why. You should still be able to follow the steps I list just fine, just note the batch file name and what it does.)

STEP 0. Make sure that you put the batch fle in your Skyrim directory, not the Data folder where other mods go. (You should be able to see the Data folder and TESV.exe in the same location that you put addallshouts.txt)

Step 1. Load your save. (Ensure you are not in a "cut scene" such as riding to helgen at the beginning, in the middle of a conversation, accepting a quest, in the menu screen, or generally anything other than standing there with nothing happening. - I'm not sure this matters, but best if you are free of anything that could interfere with all the things you are adding)

Step 2. Open your console menu by pressing ~ (Everything should pause, a semi-transeparent area should be visible along the bottom of your screen, and when you type you should see what you typed on the bottom-left)

Step 3. With the console now activated, type "bat addallshouts" without the quotes. (it's worth noting that it can be upper-case or lower-case, the console doesn't know the difference. You could type "BaT aDdAlLsHoUtS" and it would work)

Result - You should see a block of text showing everything you unlocked. If it says something like "compiled script not found" or something to that effect, you either typed it wrong or there is something preventing it from working.

Troubleshooting - If you put everyperk.txt in it's proper location in the Skyrim directory and followed all the steps above and it still isn't working, there may be a chance that your download is corrupted or something of that nature. Check the addallshouts.txt. file. First, it should be a .txt file. Try to open it. It should have a long block of text going down with "player.teachword 13E22 ;" or something similar repeated with minor differences to each. (I dont have time to double check to see exactly what the code list is, and sometimes the uploader will add a line to the end of each line like "FUS = Force / Unrelenting Force" to let you know what each line of code does, and sometimes they don't, but it doesn't make a difference, as long as it's done correctly, and in this case the batch file has been confirmed to work by myself and others)
Another think to check is if you have any other batch files that interfere with it, such as other batch files with the same name, or batch files you have activated that may conflict with the effects of the one you are currently trying to activate.
If you are using a gaming keyboard, ensure that any key functions you have customized isn't interfereing with your ability to type and return, or that you haven't disabled a key by accedent.

That's all I can think of on the subject, I hope that helped anyone who is having a problem with this or any other batch files.

I am having a problem here. Apparently it might be user error but I have tried several BAT mods for the shouts and non are working.
I have the 7zip program and when I use it to extract the files the only thing that is extracted is the "text" file for the shouts and nothing else. I thought there was supposed to be a folder named data or some sort of ESP file? Anyways...when I copy or extract directly or drag and drop to the skyrim folder it does nothing. I can't even see the modified or edited file with the current date and time when I move it there. Can someone please assist on this?

Keep in mind, with this batch file, you don't need dragon souls to add the shouts. It automatically teaches and unlocks all the words.

Do you have a Bat to add Dragon Souls? About 100 or so?
