Wanted to try this mod out again. Disappointed to see that author has not cleaned it up and fixed the deleted Navmesh. So I tried using directions provided by Rubbermatt (see their post below) to fix the deleted Navmesh in TES5edit.
Just to add to Rubbermatt's instructions, when you save after the auto cleaning in TES5Edit, be sure to uncheck the HearthFires box in the save dialog box.
You will also need to do a bit of manual cleaning on this mod as well. Big thanks to Kinaga (see post below) for the heads up on that. You will also need to delete the listing for WhiterunWorld found under WorldSpace in the left pane of TES5Edit.
I too have made extensive edits to this mod in Creation Kit after I cleaned it. Kinaga also redid this mod and offers it as part of their awesome looking mod HearthFire Extended. As I have already used other mods for Lakeview Manor, I don't want all that is incorporated in Kinaga's mod and am working on just a standalone Lakeview Manor road mod.
UPDATE: Got permission from themadpickler to upload my remake of this mod. Please check out Lakeview Manor Road_Redone.
Hey, I was wondering if maybe you could help me figure out how to clean this properly since I've only done standard cleaning and directing mods to read USLEEP instead of USKP. I can't figure out which part I'm supposed to deleting. When I look at the WhiterunWorld entry, which entry/area is the one I'm supposed to tell it to delete? The entire tree, from the lefthand panel? That seems like it would be the correct answer, but I don't want to ruin things since I don't really know what I'm doing.
Would be glad to help you Renesh. Sent a reply directly to you but thought I would post it here to as it may help others. If I understand your question correctly, yes you want to select and delete all under the WhiteRunWorld listing in the left pane.
Also, I have just uploaded a remake of this mod (with permission from themadpickler) to Nexusmods Skyrim. Please check out Lakeview Manor Road_Redone to see if it is to your liking.
It looks like the author has abandoned this mod. It is packed full of dirty navmesh edits, itms and other nasties. In its current form, this mod will almost certainly cause CTDs. This is a shame, since it's otherwise a really well-made road. However, according to the permissions:
Modification permission You are allowed to modify my files and release bug fixes or improve on the features so long as you credit me as the original creator
So with that in mind, I'm going to take this and fix it, and include it as a feature to my new mod "Hearthfire Extended". "themadpickler" will be credited.
To the original author: If I am mistaken or you if have changed your mind about the permissions, I will remove the fixed version immediately upon your request. If you agree to allow me to use the fixed version in my mod, then you are also free to take my fixes and upload them standalone as your own mod.
Well, I added the road. You can find it here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/66783/
Since I had to change it so extensively to avoid terrain edits, basically every part of the road is new and very little from this mod is actually present in mine. However, since it was editing this mod that gave me the push to actually add a road to my own, I'll credit the original author anyway.
accourding to Boss and LOOT there is still a deleted navmesh record, I have no clue how to fix this or even figure out which one, Anyone to get this fixed?
You'll need to use TESVedit to clean this up. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25859/? If you're using Mod Organizer you'll need to add it to your executables list.
Fire it up, in the popup box right click on any of the mods listed and select none then double click on LakeviewManorRoad.esp. Wait for it to display 'done' in the right hand pane. In the left pane expand the Worldspace file tree, the buggered navmesh is in Block -1, -1/ Sub-Block -1, -3/ 00009BD6/ Temporary. Should be the topmost navmesh, it's easy to figure out which one because it's the only one with deleted shown in the right hand pane. In the right hand pane right click on the topmost deleted entries in turn, select edit, you'll be asked if you're sure click yes, then in the popup box uncheck delete. Tada! Once that's done click on the LakeviewManorRoad.esp in the left pane, right click, select Apply Filter For Cleaning, wait for it to load the filter. Right click again select Remove "Identical To Master" Records it will tell you how many were removed in the bottom bar, right click one last time select Undelete And Disable References and it is now cleaned. Click on the X to close, OK to save & backup and it's all over.
Just cleaned mine up now to see if it stops those bloody CTDs everytime I try and leave Lakeview
Hey Rubbermatt, im following your directions, but iv sort of hit a snag. Its been months since I had to undelete a navmesh in TES5Edit. And iv kinda forgot how to. What exactly am I supposed to right click on? Ill post a link to what im seeing, if you can help me id appreciate it.
Navmesh 000F0660 is the guilty party, select it and you'll see four bright red Deleteds in the right pane. Right click on the top left one, select Edit & uncheck deleted, do the same for the top right one. The two on the line underneath should automatically correct themselves.
What a sweet little mod this could be if author would have cleaned it up before submission. I really wanted to use this mod and did check it out. The road is a nice asset to Lakeview and the gate at the end of the road is a nice touch with great detail. I appreciate you sharing your creativity and effort, but not using mod because of deleted Navmesh.
Good idea. This needs to be applied to Windstad Manor as well, as i am greatly annoyed with the fact that here is absolutely no road connecting to it and you have to either trudge knee-deep through a stinking salt marsh or blindly brave across frozen wastes in order to reach that house. THAT place definitely needs a road connecting to it. Modifying and extending the dirt path leading to Movarth's Lair would be a good starting point.
I installed this mod yesterday alongside ferogain's Lakeview Manor Dock and Shack and they complement each other quite well. They both add to the aesthetic appeal of the area, without going overboard in the way a lot of Lakeview Manor-centric mods do. Very glad to have found this one.

Just an FYI - TES5edit shows 1 deleted navmesh.
Thanks
