For the sake of dispelling any confusion, let me clarify that the dragon featured in the video showcases of Stonespire was removed with the latest version. In addition the secret exit was scrapped as well. The psuedo-quest mentioned in the mod description which allows for the restoration of the castle is instead triggered by reading journals located inside Stonespire.

This is only good castle mod done for Skyrim. All others are overdesigned and tasteless. Its shame we dont have this ported to SE and few bugs fixed. :(

Here you go. It's just a straight conversion, no bug fixes.

I know Kraeten is effectively MIA at this point, but I would truly appreciate seeing this mod ported to Special Edition. It's my absolute favorite player home since it just so perfectly hits the sweet spot in size and features. Big enough to have almost everything you could want, while keeping its footprint relatively small. A perfect personal keep.

Same, it's a beautiful home, and it's one of the mods that really made it hard to move on to Special Edition just because I miss it so much.

Forced npc's in a player home ruin player homes unless the npc's are optional.

This is a very beautiful castle, and it feels very authentic to the time period. I also enjoy the little books placed around the castle that explain the castle's history, they add a lot of immersion. I originally wanted the Mortum Castle mod, but my weak computer can't handle it, and this is a really solid alternative, it has everything you would want in a castle, and everything is well designed and clearly something that you put a lot of thought and effort into.

great mod, but ever thought of adding some mannequins, especially to the armory. it would be great if we had about 4-5 mannequins in there to display various armour sets

@Kraeten Hello there! I was wondering if you'd consider allowing this mod to be ported to the Xbox One via Bethesda.net. I happened to play a version of this mod on that system a year or two ago, but it was not properly ported and had multiple graphical issues that made it unusable. I currently have another, more competent porter interested in bringing this over, and would love your permission to do so. There's a sad lack of quality castle mods on consoles, and I feel this one would really stand out with a good port.

    Thanks!

I really wish that you would come back to port this to SE. This really is only good castle mod for Skyrim. All others have bloating features and over desinged.

Really liked what I saw of the latest version of this castle on a youtube showcase. I was able to get version 1.49 (the dragon version) working in Skyrim SE. But try as I might even after uninstalling all my mods I was unable to get the latest version 1.5 to work as Skyrim would simply fail to launch as long as version 1.5 of the mod was loaded in. Not sure what else to check as I'm still rather new to modding (I still use NMM). My guess is perhaps it has something to do with SKSE as the SE version of it from what I understand is not on par with Oldrim/LE.

It appears to function fine for my other mods and ENBs so I had assumed there would be no issue.

I also realize there are significant differences between the two versions of the game. As I was able to get a few other Oldrim mods that had not been ported to run on SSE I was somewhat hopeful I would be able to to do the same here as well.

This might be the motivation for me to return to Oldrim (or switch to Mod Organizer) as I like the castle that much! Very nicely done!
