I wanted to make the rings look better, so I tried this but I didn't like the textures, but I tried removing the new textures and now the rings are like before, but with more polys. I love it.

Looks like the author has been AWOL since 2018, how easy is it to convert this to SSE?

I see this is an older comment but in case anyone else has the same question:
I don't know about converting, but I have been using this mod for years, from Oldrim through AE.   I manually downloaded the mod, picked the main texture folder, added that to .rar and then added as File to Vortex and installed from there. Works like a "charm" LOL!
edit: FYI I did the same with another Oldrim mod called Aeterna Circlets (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1994/).  The mod author offers different finishes and jewel types and you can essentially build your perfect combination of textures.  Once you have your folders set up with your choice of textures, add as File to Vortex and install!  Good luck!

Were you using an ENB? Or are you using the Particle Patch for Skyrim? This doesn't work with the Particle Patch and even Mind Flux has mentioned the Skyrim Special Edition Particle Patch is useless now.

Check Mind Flux's page and check, he has a new project out since then.

NVM I'd put them in the Oldrim folders, doh! Put them in the SSE folders and works fine.

What folders? I don't see any files of the same name (ie genericamulets.dds) in any of the skyrim se folders to overwrite.

Does this work with Skyrim Special Edition? Could this be re-uploaded to the Special Edition Nexus?

Brumbek, author of the almost essential Static Mesh Improvement mod, says (on the description page of SMIM) that Jewels runs well with SE.

I'm using this with Skyrim SE and SMIM - just the texture on top of SMIM's rings and it looks great.

I would really love to have this ported over to SSE. It makes simple vanilla jewelry look so covetable!

There are 16 mesh files of conflict with Gemling Queen Jewelry mod.
    What should i do?

If you read Gemling Queen Jewerly's description page, the rings will conflict with Jewels of the Nord. Amulet don't. They can works with.

See if in the Gemling Queen's Installer you can choose "none" only for the rings, so you can use Jewels of the Nord rings and have the Circlets and Amulet from Gemling Queen.

I suggest that you try a retexture on the rings of namira and hircine

Details of ring are awesome, too bad the gems themselves blow.

Does anyone know how much of a difference the low-res and high-res versions are?

I used the low res version without the high poly mesh and the jewelry still looks fantastic, just like in the pictures.
