-----NOTICE----- Firstly I'd like to thank everyone who has downloaded, tested, or otherwise supported my mods in any capacity. Knowing others are enjoying my work is one of the primary reasons I make mods.
However, I am sorry to say that my tenure in private modding is at an end. While I have great ideas and plans to improve or re-write every mod I currently have on the Nexus, not to mention the many new ideas I come up with every day, I cannot do everything. Like many of you I have a young family, a full time job, alongside many other real life commitments. It is a sad realisation that if I'm to continue to enjoy modding I must focus on one or two things at a time.
To this extent I have decided that any time I have to mod will be put into Beyond Skyrim. For any of you who don't know it is a project that is creating the entirety of Tamriel in the Fourth Era as a seamless extension of Skyrim. It is the most ambitious project ever undertaken by an Elder Scrolls modding group, and it's a vision I have dreamed of since I first took steps on Vvardenfell over ten years ago. If Beyond Skyrim sounds like a project you'd like to be a part of, or even follow you can find our website by clicking the picture below:
As always my work is open source, others are free to use my work as they see fit. If I've used assets from another author address them directly for permissions. Thank you all for a wonderful time as an author here on the Nexus, I look forward to seeing what other mods are made, and seeing Beyond Skyrim up here one day.
Great mod! I got the Morrowind Edition and just wanted to point out if you use SkyUI and possible other UI mods you can have an onscreeen effect timer to know when it's time to either recast or just get closer to the ground.
Daiyus, Seeing as how only Bruma has made an appearance here, I think it's fair to ask you to port this to SSE ensuring compatibility with the AE Edition. This is something that could be done much more quickly than clearly the Beyond Skyrim project. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished release for that, just like I am for Skyblivion and SkyWind, none of which are still available here near the end of 2022. We need something now and that something is available right here. This spell is a must when using Open Cities of Skyrim. Please take the few hours it would surely take an expert like you to do to port this. Beyond Skyrim isn't going anywhere so please do us all a favor and port this.
Hi Daiyus I'm here to thank you for this mod and the open permissions, combined it with Dragon Priest animations plus Dynamic Animation Replacer for toggled animated flight with collision over on SE. Dragon Priest Player Animation Hover Fly SE
This Mod is awesome and better than the other levitate spell mod I found. The Morrowind edition is great because I can use both hands while using the spell. Fantastic! I surprised this isn't more popular.
This still works in SSE, but it's a bit buggy obviously. I was looking at attaching it to the animated wings so they had an innate glide power but yeah...
What I would like to see is the ability to enchant apparel the same way you can in Morrowind. Not saying it should replace the current system but add to it for effects you would usually find on weapons or in on-target/touch spells. Like being able to enchant a ring or other item with fireball or charm, and so forth. It would have a set number of castings determined by the item, soul gem, and enchanting skill and maybe even a random element or the chance your enchantment will fail entirely, especially if your skill isn't high enough. Such items could of course be recharged with gems. Would be so cool to re-make my Flying Nun's Robe from Morrowind in Skyrim and be able to float around the same way I was when going from canton to canton in Vivec.
I tried installing the Morrowind version of the mod, but levitate wouldn't appear as far as I could find in the location you showed. The skeleton wasn't there, nor his bag.
