    I like this but I for some reason really want to find a black and white night eye effect

    While I don't play as a beastie, this is a wonderful idea

    which version is the 6th image? that's what i want for nighteye.

    i tried the visibility version of real night eye, and it doesn't look like it worked.

    i put the esp file into the data folder, but that's all i was told to do to install.

    Do you have some Nighteye Object or Spell

    Nope, I looked and could not find anything like that.

    I really enjoy this mod, especially the colorless version of it (I have trouble seeing when it's colored, sadly)

    However, may I suggest having NMM prompt you for which version to install, rather than installing all of them?

    It'd also be nice if there was the option to remove the blur

      The Blur is still there, i thought its been removed already. I Love the Mod, but... runs for the Toilet.

    I don't think the alternate is correct in what it says it does... I activated it and was blinded by darkness.

    EDIT: on second thought I probably should blame my enb

    Good concept, poor execution:

    • installing with NMM installs every variant. Mod should be packaged up such that NMM prompts which variant to install (see Luminescent Luna Moths for an example)
    • radial blur makes me nauseous within 30 seconds (vanilla night-eye sometimes makes me nauseous, this mod does it always and almost immediately)
    • transition from normal to night-eye vision, or night-eye to normal vision isn't as good as in vanilla
    • removes the night-eye transition sound; would rather it be left in or be configurable
    • +1 @spencerthayer's feedback

    Another artist's science-y take on cat vision: This Is How Cats See the World (Wired)

    Per @spencerthayer and the Wired article, this mod should have much less radial blur (cats have *more* peripheral vision than humans). Instead look into reduced DoF. This would be more playable and more realistic.

    This mod is close to the sweet spot for the blur effect (probably reduced a little too much):Less NightEye Blur (Steam Workshop)

    Mod doesn't work in my case. As well as Skyhigh. After checking list of mods I guess one of these could eventually collide:

    Climates of Trimiel (nights and dungeons)
    ELFX (EnhancedLightsandFX)

    Can it be caused by these? I'm loading your mod after them.

    EDIT: Even after disabling both still seems to not work. Is there any console command I could use to test something?

      u have ENB dont u?
      enbseries.ini
      UseOriginalPostProcessing=true
      UseOriginalObjectsProcessing=true
      but u will need to reconfigure the whole thing after that probably
      else maybe
      enbeffect.fx
      #define APPLYGAMECOLORCORRECTION
      can also do it i think

      i want to make a skyhighrim enb some time in future

      I'm not using ENB it was crashing on my PC

      Eventually I barely remember but I added some mod changing post pro effects. It was before Creation Kit was released so it was done by replacing some config files i don't remember which one, I guess something in C:/Users/blahblahblah/Skryim

      Oh, sorry drugs seem to work quite well (amphetamine just doesn't apply any filter except blur?). But night vision still doesn't I guess. I still see all colors and there is no radial blur at all. Do i need to go in some special super-dark place? I mean where should it work? I tried inside Winterhold at night and outside (still quite near to the city).
      It doesn't require new game or something?

      maybe i took off radial blur, but i dont think so
      any mods which changes, i think, any of the sights - vampire sight, night eye, potion sight, i think will override this, because game uses same sight for all things.
      u know theres many options yes? try enable, say, RealNightEyeRed.esp only at end of load order, then u will know for sure if its working

    I would love to come back to this mod again - however during the short time I used it I got "travel sick" from the blur. If it should be removed I will be back like a shot
