Mod author, u da real MVP. I now can just spend my gold (which i got by making Dragon saber from Immersive Weapons) and can now build house without worrying abt building materials.
I have mod, that allows me to buy hinges, nails and fixtures. "That would be a roleplay-mod I would download instantly. " If i could.... If I could... At least i can make stone blocks and clay buyable )
I see what you mean there, but that only holds water if you're consistent. Do you smith the hinges, nails and fixtures? How do you explain buying stone and clay because your toon is a woman and who then rolls up her sleeves and start building a house?
Why don't you create a craftsman-follower who your female toon can hire? Then that craftsman meanders to your site everyday at dawn and starts to idle at the quarry, the claypit and the anvil, and you buy the necessary items from him when you need them. At sunset he meanders back to town and spends the evening and night at the inn.
Have a hunter patrolling the vincinity, so your toon can buy goats-horns and other animal-products needed to decorate the house.
That would be a roleplay-mod I would download instantly.
raul12, I think no, because it's easy to get this materials for free. But in the shop They have too small price i think. Bethesda made them cost so small. And i could not do anything with this. Anyway i think it's easier to get this materials mining yourself.
"Roleplay isn't about going out of your way to buy stuff... " Roleplay is about doing things that your character would do. My second character is woman. Do you think she wants to mine to get stone?!
Seems like a fair mod, hence i have heard many complains about the scarcity of Hearthfire house building materials in the town stores, however this are only the things i've heard, since i do have heartfire but i havent started anything related to house building.
All the other mods are cheat mods to get unlimted quantities of the materials, while I searched for a mod that only made them a bit more ocurrent or easy to acquire.
As much as I support roleplay, I'm baffled by this idea. Since you see your toon work the quarry and gathering clay, effectively acting out the activity, how does selecting the materials from a static list heighten roleplay or immersion?
