Hi guys. Just in case, I'll duplicate my message from Maisha's thread. I had problems with Maisha and Marakha's nudity, but I managed to fix it. Perhaps my experience will help someone.
I spent about six hours trying to figure out and fix both children, because when I finally was able to dress Maisha, Marakha began to walk around naked :D then I was able to do the opposite: Marakha got dressed, but Maisha was naked again.
My guess is that if you use mod files where both children are additional and not replacers, it causes a problem.
I cleaned the inventory for both children with the [removeallitems] command. Then used [Resurrect 1] on them. After that, I disabled the mod for Marakha as an additional child and installed Samuel’s replayer. He had to be re-adopted, but it happened without any problems.
I also disabled "Child clothes for adult based children-My little addon". With it, Maisha became naked, despite the fact that her file should be compatible.
This is what I have left: "Khajiit Child Maisha" - Addtional version child cloth (the regular version may also work). "My little kitty Ma-Rakha-Khajiit boy" - original-main file.
Both children are clothed and functioning normally.
Please let me know if you found this helpful. I don't know much about creating mods and if my guess is correct and it helps someone, I'll be happy.
tried to port it but the boys body ends up as a warning sign in my game.. no crashes though. but his face hands feet tail are fine but his body is just.. big red warning sign..... any ideas *edit* nvm i fixed it by running the malebody and torso things through outfitstudio and optimizing mesh for SE
go to sleep after talking to aventus in windhelm and letting him know you killed grelod then either kill astrid (thus beginning the 'destroy the dark brotherhood' quest) or do as she says and join the dark brotherhood, the courier will come by to deliver a message after either to tell you that the kids in the orphanage are now adoptable, go there and adopt your new edition to your family Ma'Rakha
One of the most precious children one can download, and i totaly love this lill guy, so cute <3
I dont know how it is with the normal skyrim, but using him on Special Edition does require some nif optimizing for teh nif models, exept for the facegen one. You dont really need to resave teh ESP file to make it work, it all works nicely, as long as you take the replacer version of Samuel. Using the non replacer appears to crash the game for some reason, but im sure a skilled modder can figure it out waht the problem is.
So in a sense, the mod works for special edition, all you need is to opimize the files within meshes\pussrace folder. After that, the mod works perfectly fine, no resave of esp is required.
Please update Ma-rakha to Skyrim Special Edition. If you don't want to do this yourself, please give open permission for others to make an SSE version.
this mod is clearly abandoned. It's peak irony that people are far more ginger about long creator forgotten mods, created 90% of the time with 90% in-game assets for free use.. Than actual software made from scratch, once the companies who made it ignore it for more than a few years. When it's been 2+ years it should be free reign with mods as long as you credit and link [well what remains] back to the original creator.
I don't know if anyone else is having the same problem(or if I just suck at installing mods) but I seem to be having an issue with the character model. I installed it a while ago, but it's still the same. Ma-Rakha seems to be a floating head with a red triangle and a white square in the center. Is it because I have Special Edition?
I had the same problem, and the method cebius2 described a few posts below works perfect! You'll need SSE Nif Optimizer (which you can download on the nexus), and there's plenty of videos explaining how to use it. I would try to explain it, but I feel like I'd just make it more confusing. It's honestly pretty easy, and like cebius said, ONLY optimize the meshes/pussrace. Optimizing other folders with result in crashes. But if you follow this, he'll work perfectly in game!
