I can confirm this same issue... Once downloading with MO, the mod will allow you to start the install, but once it starts extracting files it hangs. This is a behavior I have never seen in MO, so it is very unusual, especially considering this is only an esp file. Perhaps someone with more knowledge of how MO handles archives could answer it for you. For the time being though, anyone who is having this issue.. you can just add the esp file to the virtual folder that MO uses for your mods. then make sure to select it in the plugins tab.
I like the added illusion mods, but i think they're just a little bit overpowered.(too cheap, for one thing). And I think that adding extra abilities to the vanilla runes spells also makes this mod a little too strong for my tastes.
I'd like you possibly make a scaled back version of the mod, or possibly explain how you did it, exactly, the ck is hard to use to figure out how rune spells work.
oh god finally... runes were pretty much useless.. I used them to kill wolves in the wilderness :/ but NOW they are very useful. Thanks for doing this!
@vatarants Vanilla version does reduced damage (about 5 points) so you won't really notice the damage it deals at all. There is a second file that does full damage for vanilla runes, in addition to their effects.
I never used runes. Now they have a purpose. Again a new mod for my must haves. 2 Weeks ago I said, thats it, no more mods. What is there to come? I have everything chaged, what I wanted to be. Then there came "Alcoholic Beverages of Skyrim" and after that your mod. Now I think, I will never stop adding new mods. Thanks for the inovation.
Note: After a while playing with it... At first I thought, that it was overpowered. The Electric Rune with its paralyze effect for example. I am playing with many difficulty mods and those Runes are fitting perfectly in. Good Job with your mod!
So, to be clear, this mod adds 4 new rune spells and adds additional effects to the vanilla rune spells without affecting the damage rating of the original vanilla spells?
