   does this include the bolts from basic crossbows collection?

      All bolts that come with Dawnguard are supported. Bolts from mods are not supported.

   They won't loose height as quickly as without the mod. So yeah, they will travel further.
   But to hit targets that are far away you have also to tweak your Skyrim.ini as stated here under the notes section. I've now added this info to the description.
