My laptop which could play Skyrim is broken beyond hope. I do not foresee affording a replacement anytime in the near future. Therefore let this notice supersede any previous permissions settings...

Hey. Great tutorial and scripts! Ingredients sorting is perfect I just have a problem with changing the properties to a different line. I want more different sorters for a different items in one mod. So I've copied your script, renamed it (from abIM_IngredientSort to abIM_PotionsSort) and I've edited the Ingredient[] lines to Potions[] lines (to make it work as a food sorter). Problem is when i try to assign the new script to the new activator. It pop up an error that new script have some errors. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks for quick response Is it possible to add more types than just Ingredient[] to your original script? To make it work for all Ingredients, potions and so on?
With the script the way it is, it will work with only Ingredients because that is how the array is defined. But, yes, the script could be adapted to work with other stuff.
You may want to consider working with FormLists especially if you want one list of a variety of items and one list of matching containers.
At this point, I could not say for sure. I do not have this on my system and have no personal use for it. Feel free to play around and see what you can do.
you sound like you know what your doing when it comes to sorting item what I'm looking for is a way to separate stolen items from non-stolen items. example: I have 10 iron daggers some stolen some not but I would like two stacks of iron daggers one being the stolen daggers and one being the not stolen daggers.
any ideas on how to make this happen because if I have to do this on my own I would love help I have some idea how to use the creation kit but this seems like something for SKSE and I have no idea how but would love to learn.
I'll be honest. I have no idea. I haven't seen anything with regards to identifing stolen items in papyrus with or without SKSE. Rather than me blindly guessing at possibilities, I will suggest that you ask in a more publically seen locale. Perhaps the mod talk and/or mod requests sections of the Skyrim forum would be more suited to finding the answers you seek.
